Terrell Owens Gets Contract From Chicago?

Terrell Owens had his workout and even though no NFL teams attended he has been offered a contract. The Chicago Rush of the Arena League has offered a T.O. a spot of their roster if he wants it. Now for Terrell Owens this may not be what he was looking for, but it would get him in playing shape, so people could see what he could do. Now I doubt that Terrell Owens will take the offer, but it could get him back in the NFL.

I would think Owens could dominate in that league pretty easily and that is something he could use as a calling card to get back to the NFL. Remember Kurt Warner played in the league when no NFL team wanted to give him a chance. I think T.O. will probably pass, but it is something that he may want to consider right now. At least he could get in shape and show NFL people he still has something left in his tank.

Terrell Owens Finds Out No One Really Cares

Sometimes in life you have to learn hard painful lessons and Terrell Owens is learning that the hard way. You never burn bridges that you may need to cross back over one day. Terrell Owens had a workout to show NFL teams he was ready to play football again. He had ESPN and the NFL Network in attendance as well. The one slight problem with the workout no NFL teams showed up to watch what he could do. That should be a signal to Terrell Owens it could be a long time before he gets any type of a call to play again.

Owens has burn many bridges in the NFL and unless a player gets hurt and the team has no other options I do not look for T.O. to get any team to sign him. He is getting up in years and people right now do not want to deal with the baggage that comes along with signing Terrell Owens. In a way he has kind of brought this on himself. Maybe Owens will get a chance to play in the NFL again, but I just do not see that happening anytime soon.

Ndamukong Suh Plays Hard Let's Leave It At That For Now

With the recent accusation about Ndamukong Suh you have to wonder if he will change the way he plays the game. I have watched Suh play through college and now the pros and he plays hard and yes, sometimes it borderlines on dirty. He is paid to hit the quarterback and that really is the bottom line. The latest accusations about him being a dirty player I just do not buy.

Some things he has done on the field does leave me many questions, but I cannot classify him as a dirty player. He plays hard and that will never change. He wants to win games and some may consider him a dirty player, but to him it does not matter. He just wants to help his team win football games. Many times what is said on the football field is not pretty and both sides do it.

Suh will not change his approach to the game and I guess in many circles he will be considered a dirty player, but he know one speed on the football field and that is all out. Until I see some evidence of real dirty play I will say Suh is just playing hard.

Baltimore Ravens Disappoint Once Again

Everyone always has the Baltimore Ravens at the top of their list of Super Bowl contenders as they have a great defense and a offense that at times plays well. On the flip side though those same Baltimore Ravens can look horrible and that is what happen in their 12-7 lost to Jacksonville. They should have easily beat the Jaguars, but it was Jacksonville that brought the defense.

The Jaguars slowed down Ray Rice, pressured Joe Flacco and held the Ravens to 146 yards—89 of them in the fourth quarter. The Baltimore Ravens had no answer on offense and that has been a recurring theme for the Ravens throughout the years. They have a great defense, but the offense cannot win games when they need them too.

For Jacksonville Maurice Jones-Drew ran for 105 yards, Josh Scobee kicked four field goals, and the Jags defense played big when they needed too. I did not give the Jaguars much of a chance in this game, but they proved they can play football when push comes to shove.
