2012 Dream Team Or The Original Dream Team Who You Got

It seems Kobe Bryant is losing his memory or just does not realize what he is saying anymore these days. Bryant said he thought his 2012 edition of the Dream Team could take the original Dream Team who had a host full of Hall Of Famers. Now Kobe said the game would be close, but they thought they could pull it out. Now Kobe's statement makes great copy, but that's where it all ends Mr. Bryant.

The truth is no matter how great the 2012 Dream Team is they do not have a Michael Jordan or Larry Bird on the team. Kobe is older and Lebron is good, but comparing your team to the original is laughable at best. Jordan's Dream team would eat your lunch plain and simple. The original Dream Team had great size and it would not even be a close game in my opinion.

Yes, Kobe and company would keep it close for a half, but after that it would be a rout. I hate to tell Kobe that him and James would be shut down by the defense of the original Dream Team. It is good print Kobe, but rethink what your saying when you compare Dream teams.

Drew Brees And Saints Agree On Mammoth Contract

The New Orleans Saints and Drew Brees finally agreed on a contract. Brees was given a five-year 100 million dollar contract with 60 million of it guaranteed. I will admit that is a lot of money, but Brees has put up some amazing numbers as Saints quarterback. The New Orleans Saints really had no choice as they knew losing Brees was not an option with Sean Payton out as coach.

Drew Brees is one of the leaders on the New Orleans Saints and they needed him. He got what he wanted and the Saints have a quarterback that will continue to put up impressive numbers. Now the Saints are going into the season without their coach, but they have one of the better quarterbacks locked up for five more years. It will be interesting to see how well Brees does this year without his coach on the sideline. Will he earn his money or will he struggle? Only time will tell, but I have a feeling the Saints will be fine with Brees under center.

Baseball Cards Stash Found Could Be Worth Millions

Baseball cards are still popular today, but finding rare cards in an attic do not happen very often. Karl Kissner was looking around in his grandfathers attic and found a stash of old baseball cards that he could not believe. Names like Honus Wagner, Ty Cobb, and Connie Mack were just a few of the 700 cards he found. The cards were hidden under a dollhouse in his grandfathers attic.

Now these cards are going to fetch anywhere between 500,000 to 3 million dollars for the family. His grandfather had them hidden away and are in good condition considering the age. The family should turn a nice profit once the lot is sold. Just goes to prove you never know what you can find in your grandfather's attic once you go through it. You may find a treasure just like Kissner did.

Steve Nash Makes Lakers Instant Contenders

The Los Angeles Lakers gave up some draft picks, but in getting Steve Nash they have added a vital piece to another Championship run. Nash is a point guard that the Lakers really have not had in a long time. He will take some of the pressure off of Kobe Bryant and that will help the Lakers out a lot. Nash and Kobe together should make a tough duo to deal with on a nightly basis. This trade has helped make the Los Angeles Lakers instant contenders for an NBA Championship.

Rumors have it that the Lakers are not done yet either in improving their team. I do not know what direction the Lakers will go next, but the Nash trade was huge for them. They will be a much improved team and Nash will help them where they need it the most point guard. It will be interesting to see how well Kobe and Nash work together. I do not see a problem as both players just want to win Championships.

We Will See If Baker Mayfield Was Worth The Money This Sunday Against Atlanta

This past Monday Night was very costly for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as they lost both wideouts Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Evans should be...
