Lebron James Has Come A Long Way Since The Decision

Lebron James sure has come a long way since his fateful The Decision press conference. He now has won some NBA championships and even changed the way he is perceived by many people. James has really grown as a person and a player. He is getting better every year and that will continue for the next few years. Will he be able to pass Michael Jordan as the best ever?

For Lebron James he will always be chasing Michael Jordan just like every other player. Trying to be like Mike is just too tough. James is doing the right thing by being himself and delveloping his own game. The more James refines his game the better off he will be. James can do anything on the basketball court and the sky is the limit for.him. The key for him is to stay grounded and be the person he is right now. If he does that he will have a very successful NBA career.

What Does This Championship Mean To Lebron James Legacy?

Many people have asked me what will this win do for Lebron James legacy and I come to the conclusion not really a lot. James is a polarizing figure that people stand on one side of the fence or the other. The bottom line is you either love King James or you hate him. Many people want to compare him to Michael Jordan and that really is not a fair comparison. Jordan never lost an NBA Finals and King James has lost one already. Secondly, not to take anything away from the Heat and James accomplishment, but in reality besides Indiana there really is not very many good teams in the Eastern Conference.

Lebron James legacy will be define from this moment forward. If he wins back to back to back Championships that will cement his legacy. Even the haters cannot doubt his talent or desire to win at all costs. I think James is a great talent, but not in the same class as a Michael Jordan. Comparing eras is just too tough. Enjoy Lebron James for what he is one of the best in the game of basketball today. In time his legacy will be decided, not on two championship though it just does not work that way.

Lebron James Needs To Step Up In Game 6 Or It's Over For The Heat

Now don't get me wrong Lebron James has had some decent games in the NBA Finals, but you need more from the best guy on your team. Michael Jordan would always find a way to get a win for his team. James has not learned how to do this just yet. In James defense he does not have any player like Scottie Pippen on the team to help you. Yes, Dwayne Wade and Bosh is good, but none are a Scottie Pippen. James has been left on an island to do everything and that can be overwhelming to say the least.

Now that the NBA Finals have reached a Game 6 and the Miami Heat needing a win all the pressure will be place on Lebron James shoulders. If he gets the win they will hail him a good leader that did his job. If he happens to lose he could forever be tagged as a guy without a killer instinct. The ball is in Lebron James court and it will be interesting to see how well he plays in Game 6 and if his team comes away with the win.

Lebron James Made The Paint His Home

The Miami Heat showed the world they will not go very quietly with a big win in Indiana to take a 2-1 game advantage in the series. Lebron James made the paint his own last night and Miami role players stepped up as well. When the Heat play as a team they are very tough to beat that's for sure. Indiana did not have a stellar defensive game either which added to there problems as well.

Game 4 is one game the Pacers must win. They cannot afford to go down 3-1 in this series. Indiana is a good team, but if they want to beat the Heat they must play a flawless game every night. It will be interesting to see how Indiana bounces back from this drubbing on their home floor. If they lose this game they know the series is over.

The Streak Ends What's Next For The Heat

The Miami Heat winning streak ended at the hands of the Chicago Bulls, but now it is time to look at the streak in perspective and what it means in the bigger picture. Winning that many games in a row is tough no matter how you look at it. Yes, they did beat some bad teams along the way, but they did beat some good ones as well. Being able to come back in some of those wins was just amazing. Lebron James is having another MVP season and win that award this year again. Now that the streak is over the Miami Heat need to look at the bigger picture and that is an NBA Championship. The streak was nice, but reality is if they do not win the championship the streak really did not mean much at all. Yes, the Miami Heat have the second longest winning streak in NBA history, but it will be a lost season for them. This is why the Miami Heat will have even added heat to win a championship this season. It's going to be interesting to see how they handle the rest of the season and the playoffs. The pressure of the streak is over, but another pressure takes it's place. Hopefully the Miami Heat will be able to handle it as without a championship it's a lost season for them.

Kobe Or Lebron? Michael Jordan Chooses Kobe

This is a debate that has gone on for a number of years now. Who would you rather have Kobe Bryant or Lebron James. For the most part Michael Jordan has kept quiet on which player he would choose until today. Jordan was on a radio station and answer the question Kobe or Lebron. Michael Jordan did say he would take Kobe over Lebron as five championship's beat one any day of the week.

Lebron James could win more then five before he retires, but that is not the case right now. Until James wins more championships Michael Jordan got it right. Michael Jordan is all about winning and right now Kobe has more championships, so it was choice. Jordan measures players by championships and Kobe has Lebron beat on that aspect. Down the road it could change, but for right now in Jordan's eyes he will take Kobe Bryant.

Can Team USA Win Gold In London?

Team USA basketball are prepping for the Olympics and anything but Gold for them will be a bitter disappointment to them. It will be a nice challenge this Olympics for Team USA this year. Some of the players they were counting on could not come because of injuries. This does not mean that Team USA is not without talent as they have some of the best in the world. The interesting part is one of the most hated players in recent times Lebron James will hear cheers with every made basket.

In fact, I look for Lebron James to make this Olympics his own and carry Team USA. Over the last year James has learned a lot and matured after he left Cleveland. Now that he is a NBA Champion he seems poised to go to even greater heights. Kobe Bryant is another guy who could also make this Olympics special as it will be his last. He wants to go out on top and will not let Team USA fail in his last go around. This Olympics will be tough at times, but I see Team USA bringing home gold once again.

Lebron James Long Journey To Champion Is Now Over

No matter if you like or hate Lebron James you must give him credit for this Championship. He played like a beast in the NBA playoffs and was named MVP in The Finals. James has taken a lot of heat in the last two years, but if you ask him he will tell you it was worth it. Many people, might try and take this win from James, but he earned it even if it was a shortened season.

Lebron James came into the Finals and vowed to play better and he did. When the Heat was struggling and they needed someone to step up it was James. Give him credit he was the main reason the Miami Heat are NBA Champions. Lebron James is the main reason for it and should get the credit he finally deserves. I am not a James fan but he has earned my respect as winning and NBA title is never easy and he worked his butt off to get this one. Congratulations Lebron James NBA Champion!

Can Lebron James Close The Deal In This NBA Finals?

Lebron James is one player whom has taken a lot of heat for his past failures. Some were warranted, but some were not. This year looks like he has a good chance to finally get that elusive NBA Championship that he has wanted. Can he close the deal this year in the NBA Finals? This could be the toughest test he has faced in his career in a long time. The Thunder have Kevin Durant and is a very deep team. The Heat have some talent as well, but no where the depth of the Thunder.

This NBA Finals will come down to James and how much can he can carry the Heat. Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh have their moments, but in the end it will come down to what James can do. Lebron James can control a game if he wants to and will needed to be called upon in this final few games. Without James playing his best I just do not see the Miami Heat winning it. The bad part for James if the Heat lose he will be the one who gets blame once again.

Can Anyone Stop D-Wade And Lebron From The Title?

The Miami Heat are moving on to the Eastern Conference Finals and Dwayne Wade and Lebron James are the reason they are there right now. Both players played well in the Indiana series and when was called upon delivered in the clutch. Can this be the year Lebron gets his title? It looks like the Miami Heat could win the title this year, but still have a few obstacles to overcome to make it there and win it all. First, the Boston Celtics stand in their way if they make it to the Eastern Conference Finals. Boston has given the full Heat squad troubles all season long.

San Antonio and Oklahoma City will not be an easy out either. The Spurs and Thunder both present some tough challenges for the Miami Heat if they make it back to the NBA Finals. The Heat will need Wade and James to play super and more contributions from the bench if they have any hopes of winning an NBA title. No matter how good these two play they will still need some help. The question is will they get it when they need it most. If they do they could become NBA champions.

Larry Bird Would Take Kobe Over Lebron In Crunch Time

There is one thing Larry Bird knows and that is basketball. When asked who he would take between Kobe and Lebron at crunch time it was easy for Larry Legend. He did admit it would be fun to play with Lebron James. In fact he considers James the best player in the NBA right now. Larry Legend did say though if the game was on the line he would rather have Kobe. I can't say I blame him. Apparently, he has watched Lebron James bricked a few balls on television.

Larry Bird was a clutch performer and it makes sense that he would take Kobe Bryant. He wants a player that he can count on all the time. He knows Kobe Bryant is a guy who works hard and never is happy with his performance on the court. Lebron James is a great player, but as far as a clutch player don't look for Larry Bird to pick him up.

Lebron James In Regular Season A Proven Winner

Lebron James did his best to show people he is dedicated to winning and doing what it takes to get that win. Last night against the Lakers James battled the flu to toss in 31 points, eight rebounds and eight assists for a 98-87 win over Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers.

No matter what people say about Lebron James he is a force on the basketball court when he puts his mind to it. James in my opinion is a much tougher player when he does not have a good supporting cast around him. He is forced to do more and this is where he excels. James at times can be lazy and that is his main problem. With Wade and Bosh on the team he many times will just stand around and watch.

For the Lakers they have many issues and one of those is playing hard for 48 minutes. They have parts of games where they play good, but you must do this for 48 minutes if you want to win in this league. Besides Kobe Bryant the Lakers have really not done much as a team. There road record is bad and they need to get it turned around very soon.

Lebron James Still Trying To Learn How To Close Out Games

Everyone knows Lebron James is a two-time League MVP, and one of the best in the NBA. This does not matter as people will always find things wrong with your game. Maybe the one area James has yet to fixed is his ability to close out games. The good ones all have it from Magic to Bird and Jordan to Kobe. For James though this has alluded him and must be fixed.

Last night he had a chance to fix his inner demons and could not close it out for the Heat at the free throw line. If he did he could start to get the tag of not being able to close games off his back. Instead he missed free throws and the Heat lost in overtime to the Clippers. No matter your greatness you have to close the deal and right now that is something that Lebron James has not learned how to do.

Miami Heat 2011-2012 Preview-Can They Win It In 2012?

It's time for our 2011 NBA Preview, and what better way to start it than with our friends in Miami. The Miami Heat should be interesting again this season. Right now, Miami still have the Big Three in Dwayne Wade, Lebron James, and Chris Bosh, but in reality nothing else to really get you excited about. Miami still needs a point guard they can rely on.

The center position is another area Miami is soft at as well. Until these two problem areas are addressed Miami will still struggle to win a Championship. The Heat should have tried to make a move for Chauncey Billups. He could have helped them in many different ways, but the Clippers snapped him up quickly. I am sure Miami will make a few moves, but getting a decent center is something that needs to be high on their list.

Lebron James Tired Of Villain Role Already!

Lebron James tried to wear the villain hat last season, and you could see that is just not James. When he took off from Cleveland he thought that was the way to go. He has since learned that he likes the love and respect a lot more than the villain role. He now understands why Cleveland fans hated him for what he did. The special was a mistake and something he will live with the rest of his life.

For James tossing the villain hat aside and being himself again will make him a much more dangerous player. James plays better as a fan favorite and loves to hear the crowds cheer him. Last season, he was not use to being booed as much as he was. He thought it would only happen in Cleveland, but he learned it was virtually everywhere. Now that James is turned the corner and thrown the villain persona away he may win that elusive NBA Championship he wants so bad.

Does Kenny Lofton And Bernie Williams Deserve To Be Hall Of Famers

When it comes to the Baseball Hall Of Fame two players always come to my mind. Bernie Williams and Kenny Lofton both were very good players...
