Is This The Last Ride For The Spurs?

The San Antonio Spurs started in there quest to defend there NBA Championship, but it did not go well last night. The Spurs shot the ball terribly and the Clippers did what they had to do to win the game. Many people are wondering if this is the last ride for these Spurs. I would say it possibly could be as they are getting up and age and sometimes that really is the biggest factor in winning or losing. Experience can make up for alot, but this could be the last time we see these Spurs together. Am I ready to write these Spurs off? No way. They are a very experienced team and never underestimate what the Spurs can accomplish.

As far as there last ride I would tend to agree with that assumption. Last year they were playing much better as a team. This years team seems to have alot more issues and they are a year older as well. I like the Spurs and what they can do, but you just cannot turn it off and on  all the time. I think the Spurs are capable of winning a couple of series, but not the whole thing. They are getting up there in age and that will be the biggest  factor why they cannot win it this season.

Will Losing To Spurs Tarnish Lebron's Legacy

It looks like Lebron James could find himself 2-2 in NBA Finals after Sunday night unless some kind of miracle happens. Will a loss tarnish his legacy in people's eyes? The truth is the Spurs are a much better team then the Heat. When I was making predictions about this series I said a team will always beat one man every time.Michael Jordan had to learn this lesson the hard way as well. You cannot pin this loss on King James this time around. Miami is asking James to do everything and that is just not possible.

The Spurs are better in every part of the game right now. They are making the extra pass and playing as a team. Miami looks tired and when you are tired you become a beaten team. I look for San Antonio to end it Sunday, but it will not hurt Lebron's legacy as he is only one man. He did not get the help he needed in the series and that is why they are down 3-1.

Miami vs San Antonio Game 1 Preview

Well we are at the NBA Finals for another year and it looks like we could have the making of a very good finals. San Antonio is hosting Miami in Game 1. The first game is always very important even though teams tend to downplay how important it really happens to be.

The Miami Heat must start quickly out of the game in San Antonio. The Spurs are tough at home and you do not want to give the Spurs and chances so a quick start is very important. Another important thing is to limit second chance shots and play good defense. Do not make nothing easy for the Spurs if the Heat want to win Game 1.

San Antonio has to slow down the Heat by slowing the game up. Miami would rather get up and down the court and this is something that the Spurs want to avoid at all costs. Playing good consistent defense will also be important to the Spurs. San Antonio needs to feed off there home if they want to win.

I like the Spurs to take Game 1 in the series. This is going to be a very long series and even if you lose Game 1 that does not mean you cannot win this series.

Does The San Antonio Spurs Deserved To Be Punished?

The San Antonio Spurs have done this in the past without much fanfare, but this time around the punishment could be severe. It seems that David Stern is not very happy with the Spurs coach Greg Popovich sending home four players. Now this would not have been a big deal if it was not a National televised game against the Miami Heat. It was a high profiled game and the NBA wants their best players on the floor.

The real interesting part is what David Stern will do as Popovich really did not break any rules. I'm sure Stern will come up with something as he does not want other teams to do this kind of thing in the future. It hurts the game and fans who pay to see these superstars. It also gives the NBA a black eye as they want to be as fan friendly as possible and they cannot do that if they let coaches send home players.

We Will See If Baker Mayfield Was Worth The Money This Sunday Against Atlanta

This past Monday Night was very costly for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as they lost both wideouts Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Evans should be...
