Dallas Cowboys In Must Win Situation Against Bucs

The Dallas Cowboys are in the playoff hunt, but cannot continue to have mental lapses if they hope to make the playoffs. This week the Dallas Cowboys travel to Tampa to play the Bucs on the NFL Network at 8:20 pm Saturday Night. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers season has not been what they had hoped for so far. Knocking off the Dallas Cowboys though could help make it a lot better for them. Playing in front of an National audience is something the Buccaneers will like.

For the Dallas Cowboys they have had many mental lapses and questionable moves that have their owner and fans shaking their heads. This is a must win for the Dallas Cowboys who still have the Eagles and Giants to play. If Dallas wants to make the playoffs they must continue to win games. A loss could really hurt there chances at the playoffs. Getting a win in Tampa will be a good start for the final three games of the regular season.

NFL Surprises This Season No One Expected

We are half way through the NFL season and it is time to look at some of the surprises that no one expected. Now most people thought the Green Bay Packers were going to be good, but not this crazy good. They are without the doubt the cream of the crop. Some of the other surprise teams are Cincinnati who sport an impressive 6-2 record and tied for first place. The Houston Texans look like they may finally get to the playoffs finally as this team looks very good.

Out of all the teams that have shocked me would be the San Francisco 49ers who are 7-1 and easily running away with the NFC West. Jim Harbaugh is getting the job done with the same players that no one else could. Give Harbaugh a lot of credit for getting the 49ers back so quickly and a title contender in his first NFL season as a head coach. That's some impressive stuff to say the least.

The AFC West or should I say the AFC Least as this is a division anyone could win as no team seems to want to take control of this division. San Diego is probably the biggest surprise for me. They have talent and they never seem to get it going until it is too late. Norv Turner better watch out as he could be looking for a job soon if the Chargers continue to slide backwards.

Don't Count Tim Tebow Out Just Yet As Broncos Win 38-24

It looks like no matter how hard we try to write off Denver Broncos Tim Tebow he survives another week. Tim Tebow was not great against the Oakland Raiders going 10-21 for 124 yards and two touchdowns. The most important stat though is the Broncos won the game by a score of 38-24. What really help Tebow in this game was Willis McGahee rushed for 163 yards and Tebow added 117. If the Broncos get those kind of numbers every week from those two players they have a chance to win.

Back to Tim Tebow and his play at quarterback. He was not real effective, but he is getting a little better. The offense is being designed more around what he can do and that will help him out a lot. Tebow still does not look very comfortable, and it may take awhile before he is that's for sure. Give Tebow time and he may just become an NFL quarterback. That is something his critics do not want to hear, but it is a distinct possibility.

You Cannot Deny Tim Tebow Any Longer The Chance To Start

With Kyle Orton having a dreadful day Tim Tebow was brought in the second half and almost rallied the Denver Broncos to a victory. The fans have been calling for Tebow to be their quarterback for a number of weeks, and it will be hard to sit him. Coach John Fox has not said what he will do, but Tim Tebow deserves a chance to see if he can do the job. In one half of football he almost was able to get the victory.

Tebow has quietly sat on the bench and waited for his turn to start. I think John Fox owes it to the fans and especially Tim Tebow to see what he can do. The Broncos are struggling and maybe Tebow can give the Broncos a shot in the arm. It cannot hurt as Kyle Orton does not seem to be the answer. Starting Tim Tebow is the right thing to do, but we will have to wait and see if the Denver Broncos do the right thing. The one thing is for sure the fans back Tim Tebow 100 percent.

Does Kenny Lofton And Bernie Williams Deserve To Be Hall Of Famers

When it comes to the Baseball Hall Of Fame two players always come to my mind. Bernie Williams and Kenny Lofton both were very good players...
