Aaron Rodgers Grabs League MVP Honors

Green Bay Packers quarterback had a season for the ages and with that he was able to grab the MVP trophy in a landslide vote. Rodgers earned 48 votes to two for New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees in balloting by a nationwide panel of 50 media members who regularly cover the NFL. Aaron Rodgers led the NFL in passing with a 122.5 rating built on 45 touchdown passes, six interceptions and a 68.3 completion percentage as the Packers went 15-1 and won the NFC North.

Aaron Rodgers had a magical season and one he may not be able to repeat anytime soon. It seems he could do nothing wrong and lead his team to a 15-1 record. Over the last few years Aaron Rodgers has developed into one of the elite quarterbacks in the NFL. I have a feeling this is not the only time we will see Aaron Rodgers getting an MVP award. He could be getting a number more as his career is still real young.

Jim Harbaugh Wins NFL Coach Of The Year

Before Jim Harbaugh the San Francisco 49ers were just an average team with a lot of issues. In one year though Jim Harbaugh changed all that. He took the San Francisco 49ers to a 13-3 record and within one win of a Super Bowl. For all that he has been named NFL Coach Of The Year. There is not a more deserving coach this season in the NFL>

What he did in San Francisco I did not think was possible, but he did. For the most part he took the same players from last season and molded them into winners. For that you have to tip your hat to him. You may not like the way Jim Harbaugh does things all the time, but you have to respect him for bringing a winner on the field to San Francisco.

Curtis Martin And Five Others Headed To Pro Football Hall Of Fame

Curtis Martin has lead a group of six pro football players who will not call Canton, Ohio part of their home. Curtis Martin is joined by is joined by Chris Doleman, Cortez Kennedy, Willie Roaf, Dermontti Dawson, and senior selection Jack Butler. All of these players deserve to be in the Pro Football Hall Of Fame, but just like it is every year it's the players that do not make it in people seem to talk about.

Curtis Martin and Jerome Bettis had similar numbers, but they chose Martin over Bettis. Cris Carter did not make it and he is a guy I was hoping would make it in. Carter is the No. 4 career receiver with 1,101 in 16 seasons with three teams. Others who did not make the grade were Tim Brown and Andre Reed, defensive end/linebackers Kevin Greene and Charles Haley, defensive back Aeneas Williams, and former 49ers owner Ed DeBartolo Jr.

Super Bowl Prediction: Take The Patriots

Well we have arrived at another Super Bowl and this one should be interesting one. Both teams have valid points why they should be crowned Super Bowl Champions. I will admit I never thought I would see the Giants in the Super Bowl, but they have earned their spot. I really did expect to see the Patriots in this position as they have been more consistent this year than the Giants. Now who will win Giants or Patriots.

Everywhere I look I see people picking the Giants. Even the Giants website have already crowned them Super Bowl Champions. Giants players have been talking all week as well so they have plenty of confidence going into this game. They even went as far as to say they are in Tom Brady's head. I do not know about that one. Well to the prediction.

The past is something that Tom Brady does not forget. The Patriots a few years back went into the Super Bowl undefeated only to have the Giants stick it to them. If anyone thinks Tom Brady has forgotten that they are sadly mistaken. The Patriots will come out on top this year by a 34-24 score. I know many people think the Giants will win, but I am here to tell you will not happen this time around.
