Wes Welker Does Not Deserved To Be The Goat In The Super Bowl

Wes Welker has always been a stand-up guy, so when he came to the podium and admitted he may a mistake and maybe cost his team it came as no shock to me. Welker has never hid from reporter's questions and has always done things the right way. To label him as the sole reason the New England Patriots lost the Super Bowl is just crazy. There are many reasons the Patriots lost the Super Bowl and Welker's dropped pass was just one of many mistakes the Patriots made.

People focus on that one play of Welker's instead of all the things he did to get the Patriots in that position. How many receivers read the coverage like he did to get a chance to make that play. I will bet you not a lot. Welker during the season time and time again make the tough catch and gets that tough yard that the Patriots need.To pin this loss on his is just wrong as Welker was not the only player dropping passes in this loss.

Larry Bird Would Take Kobe Over Lebron In Crunch Time

There is one thing Larry Bird knows and that is basketball. When asked who he would take between Kobe and Lebron at crunch time it was easy for Larry Legend. He did admit it would be fun to play with Lebron James. In fact he considers James the best player in the NBA right now. Larry Legend did say though if the game was on the line he would rather have Kobe. I can't say I blame him. Apparently, he has watched Lebron James bricked a few balls on television.

Larry Bird was a clutch performer and it makes sense that he would take Kobe Bryant. He wants a player that he can count on all the time. He knows Kobe Bryant is a guy who works hard and never is happy with his performance on the court. Lebron James is a great player, but as far as a clutch player don't look for Larry Bird to pick him up.

Conserving Power

Thanks for the guest post by Jonathan Curtis

My mom called me yesterday and told me that she heard on the radio that if you unplug all of your appliances when you are not using them, then you can save over $100 per year on your power bill. I do not know if this is actually true or not, but I am willing to try it. I have already looked into TXU energy information to see if I can save money on my power bill. I have also been trying to conserve energy in different ways. I always turn off lights when I leave a room and try to use natural sunlight whenever possible. I have replaced many light bulbs in my home with LED bulbs. I use surge protectors so I can quickly turn the power off for appliances before I go out of town. I had my entire home caulked and sealed when I moved in to insure that no heat or air conditioning could escape. So far I have been able to keep my power bill to a reasonable amount. I hope to save even more in the coming months. With everything else in my life being so expensive, power is one thing I am not willing to splurge on.
