Miami Heat 2011-2012 Preview-Can They Win It In 2012?

It's time for our 2011 NBA Preview, and what better way to start it than with our friends in Miami. The Miami Heat should be interesting again this season. Right now, Miami still have the Big Three in Dwayne Wade, Lebron James, and Chris Bosh, but in reality nothing else to really get you excited about. Miami still needs a point guard they can rely on.

The center position is another area Miami is soft at as well. Until these two problem areas are addressed Miami will still struggle to win a Championship. The Heat should have tried to make a move for Chauncey Billups. He could have helped them in many different ways, but the Clippers snapped him up quickly. I am sure Miami will make a few moves, but getting a decent center is something that needs to be high on their list.

The Big Red Monster Kane Is Back And There's Hell To Pay!

Kane was gone for awhile, but no one could imagine the Kane we would see again. The Big Red Monster is back and it looks like no one is safe. In fact, John Cena felt the wrath of Kane on Monday Night Raw for some reason. Kane has been nursing an injury, but apparently he is healed by his appearance on Monday Night Raw.

The Big Red Monster is much more dangerous it seems this time around. Whoever crosses path with The Big Red Monster it seems is in for some pain big-time. I guess we will have to wait to see what Kane is after and why he attacked John Cena. I am sure in the coming weeks we will find out why Kane went after Cena.

Dwight Howard Still Wants To Be Traded

Sometimes I have to wonder what Dwight Howard is thinking when he talks in the media. According to Howard his trade request is still on and he wants to be traded out of Orlando.  I love Howard, but personally I would like to see the Magic trade him and be done wit it. Right now he is trying to hold the Magic hostage and that is a shame.

The Orlando Magic should be done with him and get as much as they can. All this drama is doing is making it tougher to have a good season for the Magic. Getting him moved will let the Magic start getting people in here who can help the team and does not have another agenda. Howard first game is coming up and I look for Howard a fan favorite to get booed pretty good.

You would think that Dwight Howard would have learned something through the whole James fiasco, but he has not. Now the Orlando fans will have their chance to show their displeasure with him shortly. I think Howard could be surprised by the rough treatment the fans give him. He really only can blame one person for it himself.

Lebron James Tired Of Villain Role Already!

Lebron James tried to wear the villain hat last season, and you could see that is just not James. When he took off from Cleveland he thought that was the way to go. He has since learned that he likes the love and respect a lot more than the villain role. He now understands why Cleveland fans hated him for what he did. The special was a mistake and something he will live with the rest of his life.

For James tossing the villain hat aside and being himself again will make him a much more dangerous player. James plays better as a fan favorite and loves to hear the crowds cheer him. Last season, he was not use to being booed as much as he was. He thought it would only happen in Cleveland, but he learned it was virtually everywhere. Now that James is turned the corner and thrown the villain persona away he may win that elusive NBA Championship he wants so bad.

Better Late Then Never Ron Santo Makes Baseball Hall Of Fame

It took awhile, but Ron Santo was finally voted into the Baseball Hall Of Fame a place that he should have been in a long time ago. The Baseball Hall Of Fame dropped the ball on this one and he has since passed and will not be able to enjoy this honor. At least his family will, but that is little consolation in my opinion.

Ron Santo played the game hard and was a great player for the Chicago Cubs. Santo was a nine-time All-Star, hit 342 home runs and won five Gold Gloves. He was a Cubs broadcaster for two decades and loved his Cubs. For Santo's family they are happy in one moment, but sad that Ron does not get to enjoy the moment. What can you expect we are talking about The Baseball Hall Of Fame and they continue to drop the ball when it comes to getting the right people into the Hall.
