Do You Have The Worst Cubicle Ever?

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Contest Factory for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Pimp My Cube Contest is looking for the most pathetic and messy cubicle around. Can you take this title, and if you do, some great prizes could be yours. Most people think that their cubicle is the worst, but it is time to prove it. Now when we are talking about the worst cubicle we mean everything from technology to the old lazy boy that may dot your workspace. Remember, we are looking for the absolute worst cubicle. Let us look at some of the great prizes that up for grabs if you are the winner.

The Grand Prize in the Pimp My Cube Contest winner will get their cube pimped out. The winner will be selected by judges based on most votes, best video, and most compelling story. The Grand Prize has a value of around $1200 dollars. That will change any cubicle into a beautiful showplace. Prizes that will be available to update your cubicle include high-end computer system, new desk, chair, and decorations. A new entertainment package with a high-end stereo is also available.

Entering this contest is easy and anyone can enter if they have the worst cubicle possible. Go to the PMC site, register, and upload your video. Once your Contest Video  has been approved, encourage family, friends, and co-workers to vote for it. This will enhance your chances of winning the top prize. A second sweepstakes prize of a $200 dollar gift card will be rewarded randomly at the end of the contest. This contest runs from 12/5/11 at 12:00PM to 1/31/12 at 12:00PM. Get your entry in today, as you never know you could be the Grand Prize winner in the Pimp My Cube Contest.

Oil Refinery

Thanks for the article from Jermaine Haynes

I recently took a job in Texas working in an oil refinery as a contractor, and so far I love it. Sure, the weather is hot and the work is hard, but I get to live in a great town and get paid well for the work I do. As a contractor, I receive a Per Diem to cover my living expenses while I’m here working, which is also great. I found a wonderful apartment and am having a blast exploring my new city. Another great thing is that any money from my Per Diem stipend that I don’t spend is mine to keep. That was definitely the motivation I needed to try to save some money on my living expenses! At the suggestion of one of my new coworkers, I checked out Champion Energy Spring Texas and discovered that I could shop around for the cheapest energy provider. I have saved a ton of money on my utilities each month, and I’m sending that extra money back to my wife and family at home. Being away from them is not ideal, but I’m so fortunate to be able to provide a good living for them while I’m out here.

Albert Pujols Got Whale Of A Deal From Angels

When Albert Pujols became a free agent we all knew he would be paid well, but no one could have guess he would get paid as well as he did. Give credit to his agent for getting him a one of a kind deal. Below is some of the things that are in Pujols new Angels contract.

Salary
2012: $12 million; 2013: $16 million
2014: $23 million; 2015: $24 million
2016: $25 million; 2017: $26 million
2018: $27 million; 2019: $28 million
2020: $29 million; 2021: $30 million

Personal services agreement
Sides agree that after the expiration of the contract or Pujols' retirement as a player, they will enter into a 10-year personal services relationship and Pujols will be paid $1 million annually.

Milestone accomplishments
The sides agree they will enter into a separate marketing agreement in which Pujols will be paid for the promotion and marketing of specified milestone accomplishments. Among them are a $3 million payment for 3,000 hits and a $7 million payment for 763 home runs.

Award Bonuses
Most Valuable Player: $500,000
MVP second or third place: $75,000
Gold Glove: $75,000
Silver Slugger: $75,000
All-Star election or selection: $50,000
World Series MVP: $100,000
ALCS MVP: $75,000

Don't we all wish we could get a contract like that. Give Pujols credit he got wanted he wanted and more. Maybe that is why he could very well be listed as one of the greatest of all-time after he retires.

West Virginia Crush Clemson 70-33 In Orange Bowl

West Virginia has been overlooked most of the season and they wanted to make a statement in the Orange Bowl. Mission accomplished as they destroyed Clemson by a score of 70-33. The Mountaineers broke it open in the second quarter with 5 touchdowns on the way to a 49-20 halftime lead and never looked back. It seems that we are having more high scoring games then ever before.

Clemson made to many mistakes and did not look very good against West Virginia. You will have night like these and it look like it was Clemson's turn to be on the side of one of these. No matter what we did learn that West Virginia has been overlooked this season as they proved on the big stage they can play football with most anyone. Great win for West Virginia football.

What's Wrong With The Dallas Cowboys?

The million dollar question these days is what is wrong with the Dallas Cowboys? Is it the owner? Coaching? Or could it be a combination of everything. Pinpointing the problems with the Dallas Cowboys is very tough as you could pick out a number of areas. I will try to go over a few and see what changes need to be made in my opinion.

Let's start with the coach Jason Garrett whom Jerry Jones personally picked to coach his Dallas Cowboys. I like Jason Garrett as an offensive coordinator as he has a great mind for the game. Being a head coach though is not his forte. Another guy who comes to mind is Wade Phillips. He has a great feel for the defensive side of it, but is not a head coach. I think eventually the Dallas Cowboys will need to make a change.

No matter how much Cowboy fans would like to see a smaller role for Jerry Jones it will never happen. He owns the team and will have his hand in everything. I do not always think that is a good thing, but that's the way it happens to be.

The players are another area that the Cowboys also need to work on as well. Dallas finished 8-8 and only beat one team with a .500 record or better the San Francisco 49ers. Talent wise the Dallas Cowboys are not that bad. The problem many times lies in the effort they give. Years ago, it meant something to wear a Dallas Cowboys uniform, but today's players do not seem to care. It's more about collecting the check than winning games. Until players realize they have a huge responsibility being a Dallas Cowboy they will continue to struggle.

As you can see there are many problems with the Dallas Cowboys and no easy fix. It will take time to get the Cowboys back to where they once were. Jason Garrett is not the coach they need and the players need to make more of a commitment. Jerry Jones will always be there, so that is something you can't change, but you still can fix the other two.

Norv Turner Given Another Shot In San Diego

After another season of disappointment I thought the San Diego Chargers were ready to make changes, but that was not the case. The Chargers announced that A.J. Smith is the best man to improve our roster, and Norv Turner is the best man to lead that roster on the field. Now that statement by the Chargers owner has me shaking my head. Yes, I will agree making a change is never easy, but it seems A.J. Smith and Norv Turner has had more then enough chances to bring a championship to San Diego. They have failed to do so and giving them another chance really makes no sense at all.

San Diego over the last few years has had the talent to win at this level. For some reason they have not produced on the field under Norv Turner. This is why a change was needed, but the Chargers have decided to stay the course. I hope the owner knows what he is doing, but from a fan's perspective a change was needed to get over the hump. Hopefully this will work out for the Chargers, but I just don''t see it.

Nebraska Under Performs Once Again In Big Game

The Nebraska Cornhuskers failed to impress in another big game this season, which should not be a shocker for Husker fans. South Carolina's quarterback Connor Shaw threw for 230 yards and two touchdowns as South Carolina defeated Nebraska by a score of 30-13 in the Capital One Bowl In Orlando. It marked the first time the Gamecocks reached the 11 win mark in their college football history.

For the Nebraska Cornhuskers another end to a season that seems to be a recurring theme. Nebraska struggles to beat good teams or they just plain beat themselves. Just down three at halftime 16-13 Nebraska came out in the second half flat with miscues and penalties. Against a good coached team like South Carolina you just cannot do that and win. Nebraska does have a lot of talent, but unless they clean up the issues that have plagued them all season long the same thing will happen next season. Nebraska football will end the season with another loss.

Rams Fire Coach And GM After 2-14 Season

In The NFL you must win and Steve Spagnuolo and general manager Billy Devaney did not do it enough and now are looking for employment. The Rams let both individuals go in a sign the Rams wanted to go a different direction. There are many reasons it did not work for Steve Spagnuolo and the Rams. The Rams had many different injuries and that did not help him. A few breaks here or there would have to, but it did not happen. Even some great graduates of sports medicine schools
would have helped the team with their injuries. A 2-14 record and dwindling attendance did not help Spagnuolo keep his job.

The St. Louis Rams need a coach who will be patient as they do have a young team. With a high draft pick the Rams have some tough choices to make. Is Sam Bradford the future for them or should they consider other options. How about a running back, wide receiver or defensive help? The first thing is to get a coach, but they will have a lot of decision in the coming months. No matter what happens the Rams will be going in a different direction in 2012.

Bucs Axe Raheem Morris Wants fresh Start

The writing was on the wall for Raheem Morris even if he did not want to see it. Going 17-31 is not something the Buccaneers wanted to see from Morris or a 10 game losing streak this season. After a 10-6 record in 2010-11 season big things were expected, but it never happened. The Bucs started 4-2, but the wheels feel off the ship and they went downhill from there.

Tampa Bay is a very young team and Raheem Morris did all he could, but new leadership was needed. The Buccaneers are young and need a coach with a lot more experience to lead them. Morris was just not the guy to do it. I told people this when the Bucs let go of Jon Gruden. Now the Buccaneers will need to find another coach and the search begins. let's hope they find a coach that will work out long-term and not be another coaching carousel in Tampa Bay.

Has Tim Tebow And Broncos Lost Their Magic?

The Denver Broncos are headed to the playoffs for the first time in a long time. but it wasn't because of Tim Tebow or what the team did on their own. Others lost and handed them the AFC West Title, but they will take it. Tebow went against his former teammate and looked horrible. Tebow was 6 of 22 passes for 60 yards and had a critical red zone fumble. If you have those kind of numbers you will never beat any NFL team. Next up for Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Pittsburgh's defense is one of the best in the league and I can imagine Tim Tebow is in for a long day against the Steelers. Tebow has not seen anything that will come at him like the Steelers. You thought the numbers against the Chiefs were bad wait until the Steelers come to town. It could be a make or break game in Tim Tebow's career. Unless he plays better it looks like the magic has worn off Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos.
