Will Carmelo Anthony Make It A Big Four In Miami?

Rumors have been making there way that the Heat are talking about adding Carmelo Anthony to the Big Three in Miami. Is this something that is possible? The truth is it can be done, but the Big Three will have to take pay cuts for it to happen. I do not know if the Big Three want to sacrifice all that money just to win championships. There are other problems with it as well. Let us look at some of them.

One of the biggest problems will be egos. Can Carmelo Anthony work with the Big Three? I just do not see that working out for them. Anthony wants to be the main man and in Miami he will just be part of a group. It sounds good on paper, but in practice it will not work. Fan backlash will be huge as well. Miami is already hated, but it will reach another level altogether.

Other teams will start to put together there own Big Three as well. This is not good for the league as you will have some super teams and ones that will just be average. I think it will water down the product and that is not a good thing at all. In the end, I think this is bad all the way around for basketball.

Lebron James Puts Cramps To Rest Once And For All

Lebron James had to listen about cramps for a couple of days and for The Spurs that was not a good thing. James poured in 35 points to help the Heat even the series with the San Antonio Spurs. Most people made jokes about King James and his cramps including Gatorade. James has always been a player with great focus and he proved that once again.

The Spurs have a real problem is when James is on they have no real answer for him. Until they do it might be tough for the Spurs to win this series. I'm still sticking with the Spurs to win it as I like there depth in a seven game series. I will admit though the Spurs must slow down Lebron James if they want to win down in Miami.

Ronaldo Shows He's A Good Sport No Matter What He Is Playing

Ronaldo has done many things throughout his great career in soccer, in fact, Ronaldo loves to do many different things. Many people do not realize what a great star Ronaldo was especially in World Cup play. He is considered one of the best players to play in the World Cup. His stats rank right up there with some of the best players to ever play the game of soccer. The sad part is injuries curtailed his career that could have been even greater.

One of the things that Ronaldo loves to do is play poker online. The video above shows what fun he had while playing poker on pokerstars.net. People were shocked that they were playing the great Ronaldo, but at the end Ronaldo had a shock of his own. Check out the video of Ronaldo and if you love poker head over to pokerstars.net.

Lebron James Can Do Something Special In This Year's Finals But Will He

Lebron James is the best basketball on the planet right now and he can do something real special in his third straight Finals appearance. The real question is will he or will he pass the torch to someone else. Ever since King James came into the league he has had his detractors, but he can end all that with another Finals win and Championship.

James has to understand if he wants to win a third straight championship he cannot be passive at times. He must go all out in every game. The Spurs are bent on revenge, so he must bring his "A" game every night. James also is the only one that can keep the Big Three together. If Miami loses this championship I look for the Big Three to be no more. James is the one player that can keep this thing together if he wants.

King James will tell you he does not care about his legacy, but that is just not true. If that was he could have stayed in Cleveland and try to win there. He wants as many championships as possible. He really cares about his legacy and how he is perceived. No matter what he tells everyone else he really does care.

Cecil Cooper A Very Underrated Talent

Cecil Cooper was a player who started his career with the Boston Red Sox in 1971 and ended his career in 1987 with the Milwaukee Brewers. When Cooper hit the scene he was not known as a very good defensive player. Over the years though he improved that a lot and towards the end of his career he was a very good one.

Most people do not realize that Coop as he was known could do almost anything with the bat. If you needed a bunt, single or home run he could do it all. He made himself a complete player which is rare in today's game. Even though his numbers were not great in Boston he made up for that in Milwaukee. He helped the Brewers make the playoffs and was a consistent player during his time with the Brewers.

Cooper managed the Houston Astros, but was fired in 2009. He now lives in Texas with his wife Tori and has two grown daughters. Cecil Cooper was not the biggest star in his career, but a player that produced in the clutch and on a consistent basis.

Don Zimmer Has Died At 83 Years Young

Don Zimmer has passed away at the age of 83. I will admit Don Zimmer was one of my favorite guys in baseball. A friendly guy who love to coach and talk baseball with whomever wanted to listen to him. He almost won a championship as a manager with the Red Sox. His players loved playing for him and always talked fondly about him even when he left for another job.

Zimmer was also Joe Torre's right hand man in New York for many years. Zimmer will be missed in the baseball community. My condolences go out to his family and friends. Baseball has lost a great ambassador in Don Zimmer.

Did MLB Make A Mistake Not Suspending Ray's David Price?

It looks like MLB is back at it when it comes suspending players. David Price was in the center of controversy of the latest feud between the Red Sox and The Rays. Price and Ortiz got into it after Price drilled Oritz. I was surprised that Price did not get suspended for hitting Big Papi. What does this mean? It sets up many different problems for MLB.

First you must not pick and choose whom you suspend. If you suspend one player for throwing at another you need to suspend everyone. This tell players that MLB is not going to be fair when it comes to suspensions. That also means players will take punishments into their own hands even if it means a suspension.

I look for Big Papi to issue his own kind of justice. People may not like how he handles it, but he gave MLB a chance to take care of it and they did not. I guess we will have to wait and see how this all plays out in the end.

NIL Has It Been Good Or Bad For College Football?

When the NIL was first mention I had my reservations about if it was going to be good for college football. After seeing it implemented the...
