Terrell Owens Gets Contract From Chicago?

Terrell Owens had his workout and even though no NFL teams attended he has been offered a contract. The Chicago Rush of the Arena League has offered a T.O. a spot of their roster if he wants it. Now for Terrell Owens this may not be what he was looking for, but it would get him in playing shape, so people could see what he could do. Now I doubt that Terrell Owens will take the offer, but it could get him back in the NFL.

I would think Owens could dominate in that league pretty easily and that is something he could use as a calling card to get back to the NFL. Remember Kurt Warner played in the league when no NFL team wanted to give him a chance. I think T.O. will probably pass, but it is something that he may want to consider right now. At least he could get in shape and show NFL people he still has something left in his tank.

Terrell Owens Finds Out No One Really Cares

Sometimes in life you have to learn hard painful lessons and Terrell Owens is learning that the hard way. You never burn bridges that you may need to cross back over one day. Terrell Owens had a workout to show NFL teams he was ready to play football again. He had ESPN and the NFL Network in attendance as well. The one slight problem with the workout no NFL teams showed up to watch what he could do. That should be a signal to Terrell Owens it could be a long time before he gets any type of a call to play again.

Owens has burn many bridges in the NFL and unless a player gets hurt and the team has no other options I do not look for T.O. to get any team to sign him. He is getting up in years and people right now do not want to deal with the baggage that comes along with signing Terrell Owens. In a way he has kind of brought this on himself. Maybe Owens will get a chance to play in the NFL again, but I just do not see that happening anytime soon.

Ndamukong Suh Plays Hard Let's Leave It At That For Now

With the recent accusation about Ndamukong Suh you have to wonder if he will change the way he plays the game. I have watched Suh play through college and now the pros and he plays hard and yes, sometimes it borderlines on dirty. He is paid to hit the quarterback and that really is the bottom line. The latest accusations about him being a dirty player I just do not buy.

Some things he has done on the field does leave me many questions, but I cannot classify him as a dirty player. He plays hard and that will never change. He wants to win games and some may consider him a dirty player, but to him it does not matter. He just wants to help his team win football games. Many times what is said on the football field is not pretty and both sides do it.

Suh will not change his approach to the game and I guess in many circles he will be considered a dirty player, but he know one speed on the football field and that is all out. Until I see some evidence of real dirty play I will say Suh is just playing hard.

Baltimore Ravens Disappoint Once Again

Everyone always has the Baltimore Ravens at the top of their list of Super Bowl contenders as they have a great defense and a offense that at times plays well. On the flip side though those same Baltimore Ravens can look horrible and that is what happen in their 12-7 lost to Jacksonville. They should have easily beat the Jaguars, but it was Jacksonville that brought the defense.

The Jaguars slowed down Ray Rice, pressured Joe Flacco and held the Ravens to 146 yards—89 of them in the fourth quarter. The Baltimore Ravens had no answer on offense and that has been a recurring theme for the Ravens throughout the years. They have a great defense, but the offense cannot win games when they need them too.

For Jacksonville Maurice Jones-Drew ran for 105 yards, Josh Scobee kicked four field goals, and the Jags defense played big when they needed too. I did not give the Jaguars much of a chance in this game, but they proved they can play football when push comes to shove.

Albert Pujols Quiets His Critics Quickly in 16-7 Cardinals Win

Many people question things Albert Pujols does and that is not always a good thing.Lat night, Pujols on Saturday night had five hits, three of them home runs, over five consecutive at-bats. He drove in six runs. He accounted for 14 total bases, a World Series record. Case closed why you kept quiet about Albert Pujols and how he does things. Yeah, he did not talk after a loss and let his bat do the talking for him last night. This was a game for the ages and now people have learned why the name Albert Pujols should not come off your lips in a bad light anymore.

For the Texas Rangers it also was a lesson learned as well. They know that it is best to pitch around Pujols when possible. He is one player in baseball that can carry a whole team himself. When he does the Cardinals are tough to beat. He was in a zone last night and as the Rangers now know to stray away from him at all costs.

Red Sox Players Did They Drink Or Not

It seems the fallout from the Boston Red Sox party ways continues to come out. Several reports have players drinking in the dugout even though players have denied it. Now no matter how you look at it players should not be drinking period why they are playing a game. After the game they can drink as much as they want, but not during the game.

Owners pay a lot of money to these players to perform on the field. Fans do not pay high ticket prices to see players drinking in the dugout they want to see them perform the best they can on the field. The Boston Red Sox players and management needs to come clean about what really happen in the clubhouse and dugout. The fans have a right to know, because in the end they pay part of a players salary through ticket prices. Red Sox players should know better than to drink on the job, and if it was happening they should be ashamed of it.

Jets End Losing Streak With 24-6 Win Over Dolphins

The New York Jets have been struggling, but they have found someone that is playing worse than they are the Miami Dolphins. The Jets got a touchdown return on a Darrell Revis interception and the offense did enough to get a easy 24-6 win over the Miami Dolphins. The win ended the Jets three game losing streak and talk about the Jets fighting in the locker room for at least one week. Mark Sanchez was 14 for 25 for 201 yards and a touchdown. The Jets needed this win as a loss to the Dolphins could have marked a very long season for them.

For the Miami Dolphins who now stand 0-5 it has turned to when will Tony Sparano be fired as Dolphins coach. Brandon Marshall did not get tossed like he said he would and actually had a decent game for the Dolphins. The Dolphins have a lot of injuries and are not very good right now. I think a new coach is needed and it probably will not be long before the Dolphins get a new one. Miami needs a new direction and a coach is the only thing that can bring that right now.

Brewers Get Booted By Cardinals 12-6

The Milwaukee Brewers had the best home record in baseball, but it did not matter. The facts are when you boot the baseball around you get beat. That is exactly what happen to the Milwaukee Brewers who got crushed at home 12-6 and watch the St. Louis Cardinals celebrate on their field. Milwaukee really has no one to blame but themselves. All season long they struggle completing the simple plays and that was their downfall in this series as well.

Give the St. Louis Cardinals a lot of credit though as they earned this series as much as the Brewers gave it away. The Cardinals have come a long way to get where they are right now and deserve a chance to win a World Series title. They went through the Phillies and Brewers to get to the World Series. That was no easy task, but they were able to do it and should be commended on getting the job done.

Can Romo And The Cowboys Derail The Patriots?

Tony Romo has not had the kind of season he expected, but that can change with a win over the New England Patriots. A loss here is something the Cowboys really cannot afford right now. After letting the Detroit Lions roar back after they had a big lead is something Cowboy fans do not like one bit. For Romo he has melted down in the fourth quarter of games and he cannot let that happen against the Patriots.

The Patriots will come with a lot of pressure and Romo better be ready for it. Can the Cowboys beat the Patriots? They can if Tony Romo has better ball security and makes smart decisions. If he does not it could be another long day for Romo and Dallas Cowboy fans everywhere. This is a game that could turn the Cowboys season one way or another. it's all in Tony Romo's hands and what he does could determine the Cowboys fate rest of the season.

Matt Kenseth Takes Checkered Flag In Charlotte

Matt Kenseth wins at Charlotte Raceway and Kyle Busch and Carl Edwards took second and third place. Jimmie Johnson was involved in a wreck and hurt his chance to win another Nascar Championship. Johnson now stands 35 points off the lead and will have to make up a lot of ground if he hopes to win another Nascar Championship.

Nyjer Morgan Brewers Loud Spark Plug

When the Milwaukee brewers traded for Nyjer Morgan they knew they were not getting any choir boy. They were getting a guy who could play baseball, but sometimes his antics overshadowed his talent on the field. Morgan has been a little tamer this season, but not much. He still talks a lot and plays baseball very well though. He also has been a main reason the Milwaukee Brewers are one step away from the World Series.

Last night Morgan had a critical double, but was quiet and really did not have much to say after the game. Even though the Brewers won the game Morgan not talking is something that does not happen often. He usually loves to be in front of the camera talking. It was a departure from the Tony Plush Nyjer Morgan Brewers fans have come to know. No matter what Morgan has been a loud spark plug that the Brewers have needed this season and his contribution has been huge during the 2011 run into the playoffs.

David Stern Hang NBA Players Out To Dry

Now we our in the second lockout and it should not come as any surprise that David Stern has let the NBA players hang out to dry. he knows that public opinion will come down hard on players because that is where fans will vent their frustration. It's not always fair, but that's the truth and Stern knows it.

Fans want to watch NBA basketball and visit arena's and Stern knows that getting the NBA players to break is his only real chance. Hanging them out to dry is not uncommon in labor disputes, especially when you are talking about millionaire ballplayers. Will it work? I do not know only time will tell, but right now Stern does not care as he will do whatever it takes to get the game back on the court. This includes choosing sides it seems in the latest NBA lockout.

Untitled Jersey City Project This Is Going To Be Good

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Untitled Jersey City Project for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Online there are many different concepts that you find that are unique and different. I have come across one called Untitled Jersey City Project, and it is quite different from anything I have seen in a long time.  With FX on board Untitled Jersey City Project takes place in the fast-developing Jersey City Waterfront across from Manhattan. With this new city being built you know many things never change and that includes how things are done. The story is fast paced and ever developing which is something that you will like about this series.

This series has eight short-form episodes that are part of a larger story, with many of the story threads unresolved. This lets the viewer draw his or her own conclusions how it will end up. It makes for a very interesting series with a lot of twist and turns as far as the plot goes. Below is a video with Frank and Jane in a car chase, and they do not even know who the driver maybe. Can you guess who is chasing them? I told you many threads go unresolved, as you will see.

What did you think after watching the video. Put your comments and feedback below. I know I have watched the episodes at youtube.com and I am more interested then ever to see how this will all play out for the characters. The actors and actresses are great along with the storyline and concept. I like the way it has been presented and I know I will not missed an episodes in the future. Tell me your perception after checking the clip above and the other episodes. I am interested in hearing from my readers and their opinion about this series. Right now, it looks like it has some great promise.

You Cannot Deny Tim Tebow Any Longer The Chance To Start

With Kyle Orton having a dreadful day Tim Tebow was brought in the second half and almost rallied the Denver Broncos to a victory. The fans have been calling for Tebow to be their quarterback for a number of weeks, and it will be hard to sit him. Coach John Fox has not said what he will do, but Tim Tebow deserves a chance to see if he can do the job. In one half of football he almost was able to get the victory.

Tebow has quietly sat on the bench and waited for his turn to start. I think John Fox owes it to the fans and especially Tim Tebow to see what he can do. The Broncos are struggling and maybe Tebow can give the Broncos a shot in the arm. It cannot hurt as Kyle Orton does not seem to be the answer. Starting Tim Tebow is the right thing to do, but we will have to wait and see if the Denver Broncos do the right thing. The one thing is for sure the fans back Tim Tebow 100 percent.

Taylor Martinez Silents Critics As He Leads Nebraska to 34-27 win Over Ohio State

Last week when Taylor Martinez threw three interceptions many people took shots at him, but he did not mind he kept his poise and moved on. Down 20-6 at halftime to Ohio State it was Taylor Martinez and the Huskers defense that silent their critics. Martinez played a brilliant second half and Nebraska scored 28 unanswered points for a 34-27 win over the Buckeyes.

For awhile it looked like it was going to be a repeat for the Nebraska Cornhuskers as the defense was getting shredded by the Buckeyes offense. In the second half, the defense played much better and Taylor Martinez showed people what he can do with his feet and his arm. Martinez made all the right plays and grew up as a quarterback on this night.

Many people do not realize that he only has a number of starts under his belt and he will make mistakes just like he did against Wisconsin. This time he came through when it counted. Martinez is growing as a quarterback and only will get better. This time around Martinez is all smiles as he led Nebraska to victory.

Zack Greinke Adds Fuel To The Fire As He Calls Out Chris Carpenter

Now it is weird that you would hear Zack Greinke saying anything, but he has added fuel to the fire when the series between the Milwaukee Brewers and St. Louis Cardinals open tomorrow. Greinke called Cardinals pitcher Chris Carpenter phony which should just put more fuel on the fire. Both of these teams do not like each other, so this will just bring more tension to this series.

Brewers rabble-rousing center fielder Nyjer Morgan got in a heated confrontation with Carpenter late in the regular season—yet another sign that the two NL Central rivals don’t like each other much. Both teams really do not like each other,so it should be an interesting series. I expect to see tempers flare and a few bench clearing incidents before this one is said and done.

Texas Quarterback Garrett Gilbert Decides To Transfer

This really should not come as a surprise after losing his starting quarterback job and being booed by the Texas faithful. Texas quarterback Garrett Gilbert, who lost his starting job after two games and then had season-ending shoulder surgery, plans to transfer. Gilbert was given an unconditional release from his scholarship to find another school. In a statement released Wednesday, Gilbert did not say where he planned to go, but indicated he has visited several schools and will visit more while finishing this semester at Texas.

For Gilbert he did not really get the support he needed it seems. Once Colt McCoy's brother came to Texas it seems things changed for Gilbert. He has talent and he will land on his feet somewhere. He was thrusted into the National spotlight in the National Championship game, and it seems he has not fully recovered form that at times. He will be fine, but will not longer be a Texas Longhorn where he hoped to finish his college career.

Will Fans Ever See An NBA Season?

Well the NBA has canceled the rest of the NBA Pre-Season and unless some progress is made by this coming Monday the NBA could start canceling some NBA games. It is a shame it has come to this, but that is where we are at. Both sides need to quit it and get a deal done. The NBA season needs to be the full 82 games and not a watered down season. The way it looks the NBA fans are the biggest loser in all of this and that is a shame.

The cancellation of the pre-season has hurt many workers and their families who rely on the revenue from the NBA. When is pro sports going to get it and learn they are not bigger than anyone else. Get a deal done so people can get back to work and watch the NBA. If this keeps up there is a good chance there will not be an NBA season. As a fan I'm at the point I really do not care anymore if there is one. I can always watch College Basketball, which many times is a lot better anyways.

Is It Time The Cowboys Think About Replacing Tony Romo?

The Dallas Cowboys and their fans have to be scratching their heads once again as Tony Romo let them down again. After building a huge lead against the undefeated Detroit Lions Tony Romo started giving the Lions free gifts in the form of interceptions that were turned into touchdowns. It seems Tony Romo has made it an art in losing games for the Cowboys the last few years. Is it time Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys think about replacing Tony Romo?

Tony Romo has proven to put up great numbers, but is he the guy that can lead the Cowboys to a Super Bowl. The way it looks right now he just cannot handle the pressure when it really counts. How many more losses will take before Jerry Jones has seriously consider making a move. Yes, Romo has proven he can win games, but he has not proven he can take the next step.

Until Romo can start finishing games Jerry Jones may want to start looking for other options. Yes, Cowboys fans deserve better and not knowing when Romo will meltdown is never a good thing. Unless Romo, starts finishing games it is time for Jerry Jones to make some changes in the future.

Nebraska Gets Rude Welcome To Big Ten In Form Of 48-17 Rout By Wisconsin

Nebraska did not expect a warm welcome to the Big Ten, so after the 48-17 rout by the Wisconsin Badgers they now know what to expect rest of the season. Early, it looked like Nebraska was ready to play, but that was just smoke and mirrors it seemed. Wisconsin quarterback Russell Wilson shredded the Cornhuskers defense with his feet and his arm. Nebraska really had no answers for Wilson all night long and the rout was on.

Taylor Martinez was suppose to help keep Nebraska in the game, but he struggled to hold onto the ball and threw three interceptions. When you are playing on the road those are mistakes that you just cannot make and win. This was not the way a Nebraska football team usually plays under Bo Pelini, but you have to give Wisconsin credit they came to play. Wisconsin is tough at home and they showed why they are a National Title contender once again.

Not all is lost for the Cornhuskers with this loss. They could win rest of there games and get to the Big Ten Championship against most likely Wisconsin. Unless they play better though the second possible match-up could be a rout as well.
