Buccaneers And Lions Looking For New Coaches

Tampa Bay and Detroit thought 2013 would be a season of promised, but for both head coaches that was not the case. Both teams let go of there head coaches on Black Monday in the NFL. Greg Schiano made alot of enemies in Tampa Bay and it was no real surprise that he got the boot in Tampa. Many players did not like him, so it really was a no-brainer.

Detroit on the other hand never reach the expectationbs they had for the upcoming season. Many people thought they would win there division, but instead struggled all year long. Jim Schwartz was expected to do great things in 2013, but it never came together for him. Both teams now will start there search for a new head coach.

Cowboys Miss Playoffs Again Not Romo's Fault This Time

For the last few years everyone wanted to jump on Tony Romo for failing to get the Cowboys to the playoffs. This season the Cowboys again had a chance at the playoffs only to see a late interception end there chances for the post-season. Kyle Orton played in place of Tony Romo who had back surgery and was unable to play for the Cowboys.

Kyle Orton did not play bad, but the interception killed him at the end. You cannot put this all on Orton as he did not have a hand in the other Cowboy losses. The bottom line is the Dallas Cowboys should have never been in this position in the first place. If they would have take care of business like they should they would have already clinched a playoff berth.

Many questions now surround the Dallas Cowboys and there coach Jason Garrett. Will Garrett be back as Cowboys coach. It's hard to say as you never know with Jerry Jones. Either way something must change as the Dallas Cowboys cannot continue to miss the playoffs.

Mike Shanahan And Leslie Frazier Given The Boot As Coaches

You knew that Black Monday was coming after some of the teams struggle all season long. The Washington Redskins said goodbye to Mike Shanahan after a 3-13 season and the Minnesota Vikings said goodbye to Leslie Frazier as well. Both coaches struggled to get there teams to play well this season. Minnesota and Washington along with Cleveland are looking for new coaches.

There could be a few other teams that fire there coaches as well. I think Tampa Bay and Jacksonville could be two teams that may pull the trigger. Both of these teams struggled this season as well. No matter what happens we will see some new faces in new places this upcoming NFL season. Winning is what you must do and when it does not happen usually the coach must go.

Cleveland Browns Fans Deserve Better

Well another season is coming to a close in Cleveland and the Browns again missed the playoffs. Now this comes as no surprise to anyone, but Browns Fans Deserve much better then what they are getting. Cleveland is probably poised to fire there coach and bring in another retread and continue the same old losing Browns fans are use to.

When will the losing stop for Cleveland Browns Fans?  I'm afraid it will not stop anytime soon. Cleveland needs a quarterback that has some  talent and some players to help him out. The Browns have a few good player's, but overall they need a lot of help. Cleveland does have a number of draft picks that should help them rebuild.

Winning will never start unless they hire a coach with a proven track record. You need a voice in the locker room that players trust and believe in. Until that happens the Browns will continue to lose. Brown's fan's deserve better and let's hope the front office realizes it one day soon.

Rex Ryan Will Continue As Jets Coach Despite The Teams Struggles

Rex Ryan must have nine lives as he will continue as the New York Jets head coach. I will be honest I thought Ryan was going to get fired win or lose today, but he did not. Ryan did get the Jets to play better down the stretch and his team always plays hard. I think that had something to do with him staying as Jets head coach.

Now that the Jets have decided on a coach what are they going to do at quarterback. Is keeping Geno Smith a goood option? Many times he struggled during the season, but he is young. The Jets have many questions in the off-season to answer if they want to be competitive in 2014.

The one thing that they do not have to worry about is finding a coach. I think Rex Ryan needs to go deep in playoffs to keep his job next season. I hope the Jets do not keep him if he struggles again next season.

Tom Brady One Special Quarterback

Tom Brady was drafted and not a lot was expected from him. He sure have proved the experts wrong coming out of Michigan. Brady has developed into one of the best quarterbacks ever. He continues to impress people with his ability to win games in the clutch.

One of the most amazing things about Brady to me is his ability to make the players around him better. In recent years, he has not had the best set of wide receivers to throw from. Yes, he has had one or two good ones, but for the most part no household names except Welker recently. Brady still finds ways to win ball games and that is the mark of greatest.

Love him or hate him you must give Tom Brady his due he is a winner. When it comes to clutch players he is one of the best in the game and one of the best ever. No one would have guessed this when he came out of Michigan in college. You just never know where your next superstar will come from.

Miami Heat Still Prove They Are At Top Of Their Game

The Miami Heat know that the Indiana Pacers are looking to take over the top spot in the Eastern Conference, but Miami is not ready to give it up just yet. Lebron James and Dwayne Wade held the Heat together as they were able to beat the Indiana Pacers at home.

For the Pacers they built a lead only to see it vanish in the fourth quarter. Indiana must learn how to close out games on the road. Right now they have not mastered that and it cost them on Miami. Later on the season this loss could come back to haunt them, but we will have to wait and see.

Did Mack Brown And Texas Make The Right Decision?

Texas and Mack Brown have decided to part ways with Brown resigning from his head coaching duties. According to Mack Brown he thought long and hard about it before making this decision. Is this the right move for Texas? The Texas Longhorn fan base is use to playing for titles and the last few years that just has not been the case. Brown has had a few down years, but he also had outside forces who wanted him out making it tougher. If you want to win you must have everyone on board and Brown did not. Where does this leave the Texas program at?

The Longhorns need to bring in a guy that has a big name and can recruit players. Texas is one of the best jobs in college football and needs someone that understands this from the start. He also needs to be able to handle the pressure and media as well, as both will be a constant with Texas Longhorn football.

Winning will cure all that ails the Longhorn program. Getting the right person as coach is the key. Taking time to find the right individual is very important. If they do not they could be looking for a new coach again in a few years.

Is Ohio State's BCS Spot Safe With A Win?

The Ohio State Buckeyes got some help when the Auburn Tigers beat the Alabama Crimson Tide. The real questiuon will be is can the Buckeyes hold onto the No.2 spot. Unless they lose they should be okay unless something unlikely happens. The SEC has a powerful voice and will lobby hrd for the Auburn Tigers if they beat Missouri in the SEC Championship game. Auburn has only one chance to unseat the Buckeyes without a loss and that would be to get a push in the polls. They would need to take the second spot in one of the polls. That might give them enough to jump the Buckeyes for the BCS spot. I just do not see Auburn changing enough minds to get it done. You never know though as we are talking about the BCS and anything ca happen. If Ohio State wins and still does not make it to the Championship game some outcry will follow.

Why Bo Pelini Should Stay As Coach

It seems everyone lately has been calling for Bo Pelini to be fired and I will admit I was one of them as well. After watching Nebraska play Michigan State I have a change of heart. I seen some good things in the loss that made me rethink his firing. Now Michigan State had the no.1 defense in the country and Nebraska did a good job moving the ball on them. The Cornhuskers never gave up and kept fighting. That is what you want to see in your football team. Bo Pelini was without Taylor Martinez which did not help either. Toss in five turnovers and that is a recipe to get beat in college football. At times this season Nebraska has not played well, but I think they are heading in the right direction. This s why a change is not necessary right now. Sticking the course in my opinion is the most logical choice. image

Nets Stop Heat Are They For Real Or Just A Pretender

The Brooklyn Nets made some moves in the off-season designed to make a move in the Eastern Conference in the NBA. Trading for Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett were huge and they give the Nets a toughness they have been lacking. Last night the Nets showed they can play basketbll against the best by beating the Miami Heat.

Miami could have a little tougher time in the East this year. With Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett the Nets look poised to give the Heat fits this season. Botj Pierce and Garnett know how to play against the Heat, so that should help the Nets as well. No matter what it could be an interesting season for the Nets this season.

Micro Touch One A Shaver That Performs

I got a chance to use a razor called the Micro Touch One and boy was I impressed. If you are tired of the high price of disposable razors this could be an option you will want to consider very closely. The first thing you will notice is the beautiful case that comes with the razor. It makes it perfect for travel, so you will always know where your razor happens to be on those long vacations or business trips. Once you open the case you will see a razor that looks like a timeless classic your grandpa or dad used. Its sleek design and shiny exterior and durability makes in a must buy and, this razor is a great performer.

Now the great looks and design are nice, but I want something that will do the job. The Micro Touch One exceeded my expectations. It always gave me a smooth shave and no more throwing money away on those disposable razors. The blades last a long time and give me exactly the shave I want every time. I kind of wish I would have fond this shaver months ago. I could have saved myself a lot of money. Give the Micro Touch One a try I think you will be very happy with the results. I was not a believer in the beginning, but once you use it you will be hooked as well.

Can We Stop Cheating In Nascar?

Cheating In Nascar came to the fore front this past weekend, but if the truth was known it has been going on for a very long time in the sport. Nascar has hoped that the word cheating would never appear, but it happens more then people realize. In the garage and behind closed door deals are made. People who do not think it happens is fooling themselves. Deals are made for a variety of reasons, but mostly to help a team get to a certain position in the standings. Can you stop the cheating?
No matter how hard Nascar tries to police the sport cheating will always be around. You can never tell what drivers are doing it and what ones are not. Just like a wreck that happens on the track. Was it intentional to help someone or it really happened. You can monitor radio chatter, but when a deal is made they are not going to talk about it on their radios. If they do they know now they will be punished for it.
I wish I could say that cheating will not happen again, but the truth is it will. It’s a shame as the sport really does not need this right now. All Nascar can hope for now is they have no more cheating scandals abrupt anytime soon.

It's Time We Get Pete Rose In Hall Of Fame Where He Belongs

Pete Rose has made some mistakes in his life we all can state that without question. Keeping the all-time hit king out of the Hall Of Fame is just not right. Baseball has had many problems with the steroid era, but Pete Rose played the game the way it should have been played. His nickname Charlie Hustle fit him perfectly. As Pete Rose ages he is losing his chance to get into the Hall Of Fame while he is alive.
He earned it on the field and no one can take that way from Charlie Hustle. Yes, he made many mistakes after his career was over, but are we going to hold it against him forever. We have players today cheating the game, fans, and their teams and they get no lifetime ban from baseball.
It’s time baseball does the right thing and make sure Pete Rose has a chance to get in the Hall Of Fame before he dies. It would be a tragedy if he never got to enjoy that day that he has earned.

What Has Happen to The Milwaukee Brewers?

Just a few years ago Milwaukee Brewers fans were very happy as they had one of the better teams in the National League. Fast forward to 2013 and they have one of the worst. This is how baseball and free agency works sometimes. The Brewers had C.C. Sabathia, Prince Fielder, and others, but now they are playing for other teams enjoying the fruits of their labor. What has happen to the Milwaukee Brewers to drop them so fast so quick. Pitching has always been a problem for the Brewers and that really has not change one bit. Brewers pitchers are average at best these days and they only have a few above average pitchers. If you do not have good pitching you will struggle in Major League Baseball. The hitting has been erratic at times and of course injuries also play a major role in how well your team plays. Most people look at the Brewers and see a lot of promise for the future. I will admit I am in on the same kind of thinking as well. They have a good opportunity to be good in the future. The key is to try and limit injuries and give the younger players a chance to play. Over time the Brewers will be fine, but for now they are struggling to win games.

Ryan Braun Can We Really Trust Him

Ryan Braun has finally admitted he used performance enhancing drugs during his MVP year and issue a text statement telling how sorry he is about his mistakes. The problem with his apology is how do we know he really means it. Various reports have him using PED’s all the way back to high school. Now I do not know if that is the case, but if it is that’s very sad.

If Ryan Braun wanted people to forgive him for his transgressions he needed to hold a press conference and take questions. People want to know why he did what he did. The text statement did help explain some, but not everything. He owes his fans, the Brewers, and Major League Baseball at least that much it seems. Maybe one day Ryan Braun will understand cheating never gets you anywhere. He threw away a Hall of Fame career for what one or two seasons of MVP type play. Was it worth it Mr. Braun I highly doubt it.

Alex Rodriguez Still Makes Headlines With Home Run And More Drama

Alex Rodriguez is one player that you either hate or love. Last night in Boston A-Rod was hit by a pitch from Ryan Dempster and that set off the fireworks for an eventful night in Beantown. Boston could not handle A-Rod as he hit a home run to help ignite the New York Yankees to another win. There are many things that people don't like about A-Rod, but he does make things very interesting to say the least.

No matter what anyone says about Alex Rodriguez he seems to do well in the spotlight. It should be interesting to see how he does rest of the season or at least until is hearing is held. I think there is more to the suspension then we know, but it will all come out. For now though A-Rod gives us plenty of drama to watch, write, and even talk about in the coming weeks. Last night was another vintage A-Rod performance which he seems to love to give when everyone things you got him down.

Ichrio Suzuki Closing In On Pete Rose's Hit Record

Now baseball fans might not like it, but a foreign born individual could eventually have the all-time hit record. Pete Rose owns it right now, but Ichrio Suzuki is closing in on 4,000 hits and if he plays at least two more years I see him breaking the record. Now I love Pete Rose, but if anyone breaks the record it would be great to see Ichrio do it. He is a guy who does things the right way and plays the game hard all the time.

When he first came over to America to play in the MLB I never thought he had a chance to break the record. I was wrong as it looks like he will break it in a few years. Ichiro Suzuki has paved the way for future foreign players and I think we could start seeing a lot more as fans are more accepting to them now. Ichrio Suzuki should break the record barring some injury or something else beyond his control. I think him breaking the record will be good for baseball as records are meant to be broken.

Michael Jordan Show Off For Campers With A Dunk

Everybody knows Michael Jordan is widely considered the best player of all-time, but who would think he still could get up to dunk. In a camp he was running he wanted to show people he still had the ability to dunk the ball. Jordan is one of the players who maybe able to dunk even when he gets much older. He took care of himself and he still sometimes gets into practices and mix it up with his players. Michael Jordan will always be the greatest and I doubt if anyone will ever take that away from him.
It had to be exciting for the campers to see the legend still have the ability to jump up and dunk the ball in a camp. Jordan is a student of the game and he knows his limits and what he is capable of at his age. It still was nice to see Jordan can get up to the rim. Below is the pic of his dunk in case people do not believe it happened.

Texas Longhorns Atop The Royalty Heap Once Again

Does not seem to matter if the Texas Longhorns sports programs are struggling or not, they still stand at the top when it comes to royalties. In fact, this is the eighth straight year the Longhorns have hooked the competition. Texas fans are some of the most loyal in the sport, so this should not come as a surprise to anyone.
The University of Alabama came in second, followed by Kentucky (5), LSU (6), Florida (7), Georgia (8) and Arkansas (10), which broke the top 10 for the first time. Notre Dame (3), University of Michigan (4) and UNC (9) rounded out the top 10.
As you can see there was a bunch SEC schools in the list which can be expected when you have a conference with some of the best teams around.

Is Derrick Rose Really The Best Player In The NBA?

A reporter the other day asked Derrick Rose who was the best in the NBA. He answered with a smile and confidence and said Derrick Rose is the best player in the NBA. Now many people might think that is cocky or boastful, but in reality that is what Derrick Rose should have said. If you play any sport or are in any profession you must always think you are the nest. In may not be factual all the time, but you always should strive to be the best in your chosen craft.
Before Derrick Rose hurt his knee he was right up there with the elite in the NBA. Now that he is back he wants to be mentioned in the same breath as Lebron James and others. You cannot blame him for this as Rose is a competitor and loves the competition. It will be interesting to see how Derrick Rose handles his return to the NBA. The one thing we do know he thinks he is the best, and if you don’t believe him just ask he will tell you.

Why It's Time Pete Rose Should Be Let Back In The Game

Pete Rose was banished away like a thief in the night from baseball. I understand why he was, but I think he has served a long enough sentence. Bud Selig did not banned Alex Rodriguez for life for using PED's, but Rose did for betting on baseball. Hmm very interesting indeed. Rose knows he made plenty mistakes, but while Pete Rose played he never did anything wrong to the game. I wish we could say the same for A-Rod and others. It seems Rose has served a longer sentence then what players are doing today. I know they weren't exactly the same crimes, but the sentences do not equal out.

As Pete Rose gets older MLB is robbing him a chance of getting into the Hall Of Fame. Rose should be judged on the accomplishments he made on the field. He did not use PED's and played like a true warrior. It is a shame he probably will never get to be in the Hall Of Fame. The chances of anyone breaking his hit record is pretty remote. Hopefully things will change and he will get a chance to be in the Hall Of Fame, but right now it does not look good.

Mack Brown And Texas Must Show Results Or It Could Cost Brown His Job

Mack Brown and the Texas Longhorns were on the top of College Football from 2005-2009 with a combined record of  58-8. Longhorn fans were so happy with Mack Brown he could have run for governor in the state and probably would have won by a landslide. Fast forward to 2013 and he is on the hot seat in Texas. From 2010-2012 Brown had a record of 22-16. In the land of Hook'em Horns that will not cut it. Win conference championships and getting to National Championship games is all Texas Longhorn fans want to see. Brown has spoiled them and now he must deliver something good in 2013 or he could be looking for a new job.

Where Mack Brown has struggled in recent years is in the recruiting field. Texas still gets great talent, but not like they use to anymore. Athletes are choosing schools like Ohio State, Alabama, and others instead of Texas. Brown needs to change that and in hurry if he wants to keep his job. Everyone knows Mack Brown is a great coach, but you have to get talent in your program year after year. brown must win the conference in 2013 or he could be looking for another job. Mediocrity is something that Longhorn fans will not take even from a guy like Mack Brown.

Dave Parker Battling Parkinson's But Has Had A Full Life If You Ask Him

Dave Parker was a vital part to the Pittsburgh Pirates run to the World Series back in 1979. He is battling Parkinson's Disease, but it is not in the advanced stages yet. He has kept quiet about it as only a few family members and friends knew about it. Parker says he has lived a full life making an impact in baseball and he has had the chance to watch his kids grow. Parker was a great MLB player who many times was misunderstood. He help the Pirates win a championship and was a two-time batting champ along with a league MVP.

His sister is also battling the disease, but he says it is in a more advanced stage then his own. Hopefully, things will work out for Parker and he will live a number more years. he was a great baseball player and you hate seeing things like this happen to anyone. Dave Parker will always be remembered for the We Are Family years with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Stay well Mr. Parker and let's hope you live a long life.

Why MLB Suspensions Will Not Solve The Problem Of PED's

No matter how much MLB and Bud Selig would like to think these suspensions the truth is  it will not stop players from getting an unfair advantage. Players have million dollar contracts and they will find a way around the tests and rules they always do. Education to the perils of PED's is really the only real answer. Right now baseball has an integrity problem and they must address it. Fans are leaving the game as they are frustrated by today's players and the cheating that has become an everyday occurrence.

Major League Baseball has a real problem and there really is no easy fix to the problem either.Suspensions in the past have not stopped the problem. Maybe the key is to make sure more measures are in place to stop it. The problem is there is always a way to beat it. Case example is Lance Armstrong. Look how long he went before they actually found out he was doping.

Baseball is America's pastime and it should always be that way. Unless Major League Baseball does something quickly about it that could be a thing of the past. I hope baseball and it's players understand that game is in their hands and right now it does not seem like it is in very good hands.

Could We See T.O. In The NFL In 2013?

Terrell Owens have not played for awhile, but his agent is still looking for a job for his client in 2013. T.O.'s agent has talked to a bunch of teams that have shown interest in him if they have injuries on their team. Terrell Owens always stays in great shape and should not have a problem making a team if he is given a chance. The last team T.O played for was Seattle and he lost out to a numbers game. If T.O. does not make a team this year he has said he will probably retire.

I think Terrell Owens may hook up with a team this season as he is talented and can stay out of trouble. I will admit I have missed hearing his boasts and all the antics we get with him. The antics actually take away from how talented he really happens to me. If he did not do the antics teams may take him more seriously. Either way Terrell Owens is not going to change anytime soon that's for sure.

MLB Suspend A-Rod And 12 Others For PED Scandal

Major League Baseball kept there promise and suspended 13 MLB players for the latest PED scandal. A-Rod took the hardest hit as he got 211 games suspension while others just got  50 game suspensions. Alex Rodriguez has deep pockets, so he will appeal and fight it for as long as he can. A-Rod's suspension is one that could go on for quite awhile I think. The other players went quietly in the night and we serve their suspension so they can get back as soon as they can.

For A-Rod he was hoping it would never come to this, but eventually it had to come to this. Alex was deep into this clinic recruiting others to use it. The evidence against him is alot and I think A-Rod will be sitting a lot of games. It is a shame players cannot learn to stay away from PED's. They have hurt their careers, cheated the fans, but most of all they have cheated themselves.

Here is the list of players that got suspended:

• Antonio BastardoPhillies reliever
• Francisco CervelliYankees catcher (on DL)
• Jordany ValdespinMets outfielder (minors)
• Jesus MonteroMariners catcher (minors)
• Cesar Puello, Mets outfielder (minors)
•  Sergio EscalonaAstros pitcher (minors)
• Fernando Martinez, Yankees outfielder (minors)
• Fautino De Los Santos, free-agent pitcher
• Jordan Norberto, free-agent pitcher

Are The Celtics Using Rajon Rondo As Bait?

Rajon Rondo is the only one left from the Big Three in Boston, but it seems he is always mentioned in trade rumors. Are the Boston Celtics shopping Rajon Rondo? I seriously doubt it, but they are not going to stop the chatter either. Boston does not mind seeing what other teams will offer for Rondo. I really do not expect Boston to move him unless a deal is so good they have to take it. Boston wants to keep him right now and build around him.

Right now the Celtics know moving him makes no sense as they would have nothing to build around. Rajon Rondo would like to stay in Boston and I do not think new coach Brad Stevens wants to lose him either. Look for Rondo to remain a Boston Celtics player, but you cannot stop the trade rumors. They will always be around until the season starts, so we will have to deal with them. For Celtics fans it is a big distraction, but in the end it looks like Rondo is not going anywhere at least for the time being.

Why Ryan Braun Should Never Wear A Brewers Uniform Again

Ryan Braun was trusted by many including management and fans. He shot an arrow through everyone’s heart with his suspension. We trusted him and believe he was innocent for such a long time and the most he can give us is I’m sorry. Well, Mr. Braun that is not good enough for us Milwaukee Brewers fans. We expect much more from our players then what you have given us lately.

Growing up watching the Milwaukee Brewers players like Sixto Lezcano, Cecil Cooper, and Gorman Thomas did things the right way. These were some of the guys that built the foundation that you enjoy. Robin Yount and Paul Molitor never took short cuts and that is why they are in the Hall Of Fame. Mr. Braun you will never be a Hall Of Fame player now. At one time we thought you were destined to be there beside other Brewers. That day is forever gone and you cheated the fans which probably what hurts the most.

Suspension is not a punishment fitting the crime if you ask die-hard Brewers fans. We want more and should receive more in the gift of never seeing you wear the Milwaukee Brewers uniform again. It is a privileged to wear that uniform and you have tarnished everyone from former players to fans who trusted you. Hopefully, you will learn taking short cuts is not the way of the Brewers organization and banishment as a Brewers player is the only thing you will understand.

Ryan Braun Will Never Be The Same Again

Ryan Braun could have done things a lot different, and probably the easiest one is to tell the truth. Braun went from a hall of fame career to a player that players and fans despise. It is a shame that he could not just be honest and tell the truth. More and more people are getting fed up with the PED use in Major League Baseball and I cannot say I blame them. It has ruined the game that people love and Braun has become another casualty along the way. Most MLB players do it the right way, but many guys like Braun cheat only to get caught down the road.  Where does this leave Major League Baseball these days?

The truth is many people have been turned off by all the PED use in baseball. The sad part is I do not think we have reached the end of the suspensions or the PED use in MLB. Players will continue to use them until we get serious about banishment for life. I know that seems like a harsh penalty, but sometimes that is what is needed. Players make so much money a fine or suspension to them is a slap on the wrist.  I guess the only thing that will work is a lifetime ban no matter how tough that may seem. I wish we had not reached this point, but we have it seems. Baseball will recover from this, but it will take a very long time for this to happen. Let’s hope as baseball fans we do not have to see to many more cases like Ryan Braun’s.

Dwight Howard Bolts To Houston No Real Surprise

Dwight Howard is headed to Houston which should be no surprise to anyone. Howard is finalizing a deal with the Rockets which should get done in the near future. Many people thought he would go back to the Lakers, but I knew that would never happen as it's not in Howard's DNA to take criticism from others or fans. Howard could not handle the pressure that comes along with playing in Los Angeles. The other aspect he did not want to play second fiddle to Kobe Bryant.

The Houston Rockets now must figure out how to use Dwight Howard and get the most from him. Two teams have not been able to figure that out, so good luck with that Houston. Howard can be selfish at times and not a team player. Getting it all to work with him has been tough. It will be interesting to see how well Howard plays in Houston. I do know one thing though Kobe Bryant probably will enjoy playing against Howard. Bryant never forgets and he is probably not happy about how Dwight spurned his offer of help.

Kobe Bryant Pulls No Punches In Talk To Howard

Kobe Bryant job was to help in the recruitment process of Dwight Howard, but to his credit he pulled no punches with Howard. Bryant has always been blunt and he told Dwight Howard what was on his mind and depending on how he took it will determine if he is a Laker this season. Kobe told Dwight I can teach you to be a champion, but you must learn and listen to what I'm trying to show you. Those are powerful words as Kobe Bryant has multiple championships and knows what it takes to be called a champion. How did Dwight Howard take it?

Now Dwight Howard has been immature much of his career, so how he took those statements from Kobe Bryant is anyone's guess. I do know Kobe is a player that means what he tells people and he was being honest with Dwight Howard. Maybe that is what Dwight Howard needs to take his game to the next level and be an elite player you can depend on. If one player can teach him about winning it is Kobe Bryant. He knows what it takes and has sacrifice to do it. Soon we will find out if Kobe Bryant persuaded Howard enough to return as a Laker.

Was Brad Stevens The Right Choice For The Celtics?

The Boston Celtics pretty much shocked everybody with the hiring of Brad Stevens as there new basketball coach. I will be the first to admit I never seen this coming and would never have guessed the Celtics and Danny Ainge would go in this direction. It goes to show you that you just do not know what GM's are thinking these days. Will Brad Stevens be a good fit in Boston?

I've thought a lot about this hire and in some ways it makes sense and other ways it does not. I think the bottom line with this coach will be Rajon Rondo and how he takes to his new coach. Stevens is a guy who knows how to win and will want his players to do it his way. How receptive will Rajon Rondo be to how he coaches. In the end, I think Stevens success or lack of it will be on how well him and Rondo get along. If they mess it could be a long career for Stevens at Boston. Now on the other hand if they do not it could be a short tenure in the NBA.

Is Dwight Howard Really Worth The Hassles?

It seems five or six teams are in the running to sign Dwight Howard for the upcoming season. My question is do you really want to deal with the hassles by signing him. I will admit that Howard does have talent, but talent alone does not guarantee you an NBA Championship. Dwight Howard has been with two teams and neither was a smooth road for him. I have lost count on how many times he threw his teammates under the bus, or the times he did not give a full effort on the court.

Dwight Howard could go down as one of the best big men ever, but I do not think it will play out that way. He does not understand it's about the team first and not him. Teams that want to sign him should beware of the baggage that comes along with him. If they do then they will not sign him. Maybe with the right coach and system Dwight Howard could equal his promise, but right now I do not see that anytime soon.

Whats Next For The Boston Celtics And Their Fans?

The Boston Celtics lost Doc Rivers to the Los Angeles Clippers and have traded Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce to the Brooklyn Nets. What is left for the Celtics to do now? Rajon Rondo is all they have left of their past glory. Will Rondo stay with the Celtics or seek a trade? I just do not see Rondo staying with the Boston Celtics in this rebuilding phase. I look for him to ask to be traded as he is not a player who likes to lose and right now that is what the Celtics will be doing this coming year.

I look for the Boston Celtics to try and make Rondo happy, but in the end it could be a lost cause for them. Look for the Celtics probably be forced to trade him and rebuild from the bottom up. Rondo does have value, but that will not be until he is healthy. Only time will tell how this works out for the Boston Celtics and Rondo. If Boston builds a winner quickly these trades will be embraced quickly. If it's an epic failure Danny Ainge will hear about it that's for sure.

What Is Next For Kevin Garnett And Paul Pierce After Doc's Depature

Now that Doc Rivers has a new team to coach where does this leave Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce. Garnett and Pierce are two players that has really improved under Doc Rivers and there days as Celtics players could be numbered. Pierce has a big contract and trade talks with other teams could see Pierce leaving the Celtics. Kevin Garnett would love to play for Doc Rivers again, so that is a possibility as well.

If I was a betting man I would say before the season starts we could see both players on the move. Rumors have Pierce could become a Cavalier as they have offered two picks for him. Garnett could meet up with Doc in Los Angeles as well. Either way look for the Boston Celtics to look a lot different this coming Season. It's a sad way for the Big three to go, but that is where we could be headed that's for sure.

Lebron James Has Come A Long Way Since The Decision

Lebron James sure has come a long way since his fateful The Decision press conference. He now has won some NBA championships and even changed the way he is perceived by many people. James has really grown as a person and a player. He is getting better every year and that will continue for the next few years. Will he be able to pass Michael Jordan as the best ever?

For Lebron James he will always be chasing Michael Jordan just like every other player. Trying to be like Mike is just too tough. James is doing the right thing by being himself and delveloping his own game. The more James refines his game the better off he will be. James can do anything on the basketball court and the sky is the limit for.him. The key for him is to stay grounded and be the person he is right now. If he does that he will have a very successful NBA career.

Should The Celtics Consider Trading Rajon Rondo Now?

It seems by the various reports Rajon Rondo and Doc Rivers had an altercation in a team meeting. Of course we do not know that to be fact, but various reports have indicated that is what happen. Ray Allen and Rondo also were not on the best of terms as well. I guess Rondo just does not get along well with others at least on the Celtics it seems. Doc Rivers probably will not be back as a Celtics coach unless Boston makes some moves. Would Boston consider moving Rajon Rondo?

Now if I was the Boston Celtics I would definetly consider moving him right now. Yes, he is one of the better point guards, but the Celtics have proven they can win without him. maybe it is time to cut the ties with Rondo and see what you can get for him on the open market. If I was Boston I think right now is the perfect time to try and move him. Many times you wait to long to move someone I hope the Celtics do not make this mistake. It's time to move Rondo and go from there as the Celtics need a good coach and losing Doc Rivers is something I don't think they want to do.

Doc Rivers Is He Worth All The Attention He's Getting

One of the interesting stories this playoff season has been Doc Rivers and the pursuit of him by other NBA teams. It seems Rivers is not sure if he wants to coach the Boston Celtics anymore, or if it is time to move on or just retire. The Boston Celtics probably would love to have him back, but since they did enter some trade talk with the Clippers it seems highly unlikely he will return to the Celtics bench this coming season.

Why is Doc Rivers being pursued by other teams? It's really pretty simple he is a winner and knows how to get the most from his players. He gets his players to buy into what he is doing and that is rare in the NBA these days. When your dealing with a lot of egos it seems Doc Rivers knows how to push all the right buttons. Finding an NBA coach that can do that is very hard and Rivers will be sought after in the off-season, but who gets him could be any one's guess. The one thing we do know whoever does, will get one hell of a coach that's for sure.

What Does This Championship Mean To Lebron James Legacy?

Many people have asked me what will this win do for Lebron James legacy and I come to the conclusion not really a lot. James is a polarizing figure that people stand on one side of the fence or the other. The bottom line is you either love King James or you hate him. Many people want to compare him to Michael Jordan and that really is not a fair comparison. Jordan never lost an NBA Finals and King James has lost one already. Secondly, not to take anything away from the Heat and James accomplishment, but in reality besides Indiana there really is not very many good teams in the Eastern Conference.

Lebron James legacy will be define from this moment forward. If he wins back to back to back Championships that will cement his legacy. Even the haters cannot doubt his talent or desire to win at all costs. I think James is a great talent, but not in the same class as a Michael Jordan. Comparing eras is just too tough. Enjoy Lebron James for what he is one of the best in the game of basketball today. In time his legacy will be decided, not on two championship though it just does not work that way.

Lebron James Needs To Step Up In Game 6 Or It's Over For The Heat

Now don't get me wrong Lebron James has had some decent games in the NBA Finals, but you need more from the best guy on your team. Michael Jordan would always find a way to get a win for his team. James has not learned how to do this just yet. In James defense he does not have any player like Scottie Pippen on the team to help you. Yes, Dwayne Wade and Bosh is good, but none are a Scottie Pippen. James has been left on an island to do everything and that can be overwhelming to say the least.

Now that the NBA Finals have reached a Game 6 and the Miami Heat needing a win all the pressure will be place on Lebron James shoulders. If he gets the win they will hail him a good leader that did his job. If he happens to lose he could forever be tagged as a guy without a killer instinct. The ball is in Lebron James court and it will be interesting to see how well he plays in Game 6 and if his team comes away with the win.

Is Dwayne Wade Another Scottie Pippen?

Dwayne Wade has two NBA rings, but will his legacy be like another superstar Scottie Pippen. Scottie Pippen was a very good player, but always in Jordan's shadow. I'm starting to see the same thing with Dwayne Wade as well. Wade won a title with Shaq and with King James, but going alone he has no titles just like Scottie Pippen. Will Dwayne Wade be lumped in the Scottie Pippen class soon?

If I was a betting man I would say yes. Wade is very talented player, but without help he would not have won his first or second ring. Is it fair to judge Dwayne Wade this way? Not really but that is how it works and he is stuck with it. Wade will probably always be a sidekick even though he may deserve top billing. Its a shame he does not get the credit he deserves, but that is how it works sometimes in the NBA.

Many people may think Dwayne Wade is better then Pippen while others think the opposite is true. People need to remember that until Sahq came Wade did not win a title. After Shaq left no titles until Lebron and Bosh got there. Maybe he is another Scottie Pippen which is not a bad thing.

Lebron James Made The Paint His Home

The Miami Heat showed the world they will not go very quietly with a big win in Indiana to take a 2-1 game advantage in the series. Lebron James made the paint his own last night and Miami role players stepped up as well. When the Heat play as a team they are very tough to beat that's for sure. Indiana did not have a stellar defensive game either which added to there problems as well.

Game 4 is one game the Pacers must win. They cannot afford to go down 3-1 in this series. Indiana is a good team, but if they want to beat the Heat they must play a flawless game every night. It will be interesting to see how Indiana bounces back from this drubbing on their home floor. If they lose this game they know the series is over.

Is Tony Romo The Most Overpaid QB?

Tony Romo has been in the league a few years and maybe he is worth the 108 million dollar deal, but as I look at the bigger picture I say HELL NO! Romo has comparable numbers to most of his peers. The one glaring weakness is wins in the playoffs and getting your team there on a consistent basis. Romo's leadership has also been brought into question as well. There has been times you wonder what Tony Romo is thinking as he runs the Cowboy's offense. My question is why in the heck give it to a guy who in the off-season seems to put football secondary.

Now I do hear this season Romo is more committed to football, but talk does not win football games. Romo needs to show it on the field of pay as well. The Cowboys owner gave Romo more money they he deserved and hopefully it will not come back to bite him. Only time will tell but this could be another million dollar mistake that Jerry Jones has made.

In Jerry Jones defense what other options did he really have left. He is stuck with Romo and he knows it. He did not want it to look like he made a mistake, so he is going to home Tony Romo finally can get it right. For The Cowboy's sake I hope he is right.

T.O Was One Of A Kind

Like him or hate him you have to admit Terrell Owens was one of a kind. He kept us glued to our seats just to see what his latest antics would be on and off the field of play. Many times, T.O did things that made us say wow or how can he top that one. Lost in all the antics were the football player Terrell Owens. He has some impressive numbers that cannot be dismissed. He was a six-time Pro Bowl player, five-time All-Pro, and on the 2000's All-Decade team as well.  It does not stop there for Terell Owens either.

He amassed over 1,000 receptions and almost 16,000 yds to go with his 153 receiving touchdowns. No matter what anyone tells you when this man got on the field he performed and at a very high level. Yes, he did have plenty of antics, but he was a solid performer for many years. Everyone has to admit they would tune-in just to see what T.O. would pull next out of his bag of tricks. Aside for all that we must give him credit for his talent on the field and what he could do.

Packers: Time To Retire No.4 And Show Brett Favre The Respect He Deserves

The Green Bay Packers and Brett Favre are not on the greatest terms right now, but this means it gives the Green Bay Packers a chance to do the right thing. Brett Favre never wanted to go anywhere as he has always wanted to retire as a Packer. Aaron Rodgers said it best when it is time to heal and move on and do the right thing. Brett Favre gave many years to the Green Bay organization, team, and the fans. Will the Packers do the right thing and retire his No.4 before he gets inducted into Canton, Ohio?

Sometimes in football these divorces are messing ones and right now that is what this one happens to be. Brett Favre and the Packers need to work this out. Favre will always be remember as one of the greatest quarterbacks ever and should have his number retired. Even though the Packers and him are not on the best of terms we all know when Canton calls he will go in as a Green Bay Packer. Like Aaron Rodgers said it is time to heal and move on. Favre's No.4 should be retired and as soon as possible.

Dick Trickle Legacy Will Not Be Marked By Wins And Losses

Dick Trickle was one of a kind and touched all that he met in his life. This is why the racing community is taking the death of Dick Trickle very hard. He was a race car driver who always gave it his all no matter what. Every part of his life was hard living and on the edge. This is how Dick Trickle was and people understood this as well. His death is shock from guy who seemed to handle everything very well. Various reports had him in alot of pain and that could be why he took his life.

His legacy WILL not be the wins or losses, but the people he touched along the way. Most every racer has meet Dick Trickle or could  tell you a story they heard about him. Dick  Trickle was larger then life and that is why his death is such a blow to the racing community. Dick Trickle will be missed by his family and friends, but most of all we lost a good guy.

Louisville Shows Team Means Everyone Just Not One Person

The one thing you can say about Rick Pitino as a coach his best teams always knew what the term team meant. This Louisville squad is another glaring example of how Pitino always seems to get the most out of his players. When most teams would fold when a top player goes down, Pitino's squads always find a way to win games. Once Kevin Ware went down I knew it was Louisville's title to lose. They did not let him down on the way to their championship. It seems they are an mirror image of their coach. Sometimes that is a good thing.

When it comes to college basketball Rick Pitino is one of the best around. Most people never think about Pitino when they talk about great coaches. It really does not matter to Pitino as he has what he wanted anyways a national championship. Louisville showed grit and determination a hallmark of Rick Pitino. Coach Pitino said this was a special group of guys and he was right. Now he can call them National Chamions as well and add another feather in his cap/

We Will See If Baker Mayfield Was Worth The Money This Sunday Against Atlanta

This past Monday Night was very costly for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as they lost both wideouts Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Evans should be...
