NBA Should Just Cancel Season Now As It Has Become A Sham

No matter how you look at it NBA commissioner David Stern should just cancel the NBA season as it has become a sham. The owners have given their latest proposal to the players that probably will not get voted on as it is not very good. Toss in the owners said that from here the offers will just get worse. The players are in a corner, but you will not force their hand at this point in the discussions. Look for the NBA season to be cancel in the not to distant future.

Neither side really wants a deal as they are both holding out for what they want and not willing to compromise. Cancelling the season is best as there has been to many lost games already. This way by cancelling the season both sides can work on getting the type of contract that both want. The NBA fans could care less about NBA basketball at this point anyways. They will just watch college basketball and other sports. The NBA is only hurting itself, but I guess they must learn that lesson the hard way.

Kyle Busch Apology Letter Did It Go Far Enough To Make Amends

Kyle Busch crafted an letter of apology, or probably his PR people did for him. Will it make a difference now or help him move forward. The letter is below I thought i would let my Sports blogging Network readers decide on their own.

To all,

I've had a lot of time today to sit and reflect, and try to put my thoughts into words as best I can.

I want to sincerely apologize for my actions during Friday night's Truck Series race at Texas.
I apologize to my fans, all my sponsors, everyone at Joe Gibbs Racing and Kyle Busch Motorsports.

After talking with my team, it's great to have their support and encouragement to assure me that there are better days ahead. Even though this took place while driving for Kyle Busch Motorsports, I am sorry for how difficult this has been for everyone associated with Joe Gibbs Racing's Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series teams.

I'd also like to apologize to Ron Hornaday Jr., and everyone associated with the No. 33 team in the Truck Series.

I understand why I was taken out of the car for the rest of the weekend. NASCAR officials had to act, and I accept their punishment and take full responsibility for my actions.
As a racecar driver, the hardest thing to do is to sit on the sidelines listening to cars on the track when you know you should be out there competing. For this, I have no one to blame but myself.

Through a lot of support from the people around me, I feel like I've made a lot of strides this year, but this was certainly a step backward. Moving forward, I will do everything I possibly can to represent everyone involved in a positive manner. However, I know my long-term actions will have more of a bearing than anything I say right now.

Sincerely,
Kyle Busch

AP Top 25 College Football Poll Nov 6, 2011

LSU kept it's hold on the top after the win against Alabama. Oklahoma State moved up to No.2 and could be in the National Championship game if they win out. Stanford is now No.3 and Boise State is No.5 and did get a first place vote. It looks like Boise State could run the table and not get a chance to play for a National Championship once again.

Should We Have Another Alabama vs LSU Rematch In BCS Championship Game

Alabama vs LSU was a great defensive game with LSU coming out on top. Of course if Alabama's kicker was any good at all it would have been a different outcome. You have to give Les Miles and his group credit for winning the game. Many people are already asking for a rematch in the BCS championship game between these two teams. Now that is possible, but highly unlikely. These maybe the best two teams in college football, but the BCS rarely pits rematches in their Championship games.

Oklahoma State, Stanford, and the BCS buster Boise State are still in the mix. Right now Oklahoma State has the best shot at it especially if they can beat Oklahoma the last game of the season. Now if Oklahoma beats Oklahoma State do not count the Sooners out of the National Title Hunt just yet. The next few weeks will tell us a lot, but a LSU-Alabama rematch is highly unlikely no matter how good it maybe. It's a shame we just can't have a playoff and then we could find who the best team is after all.

NBA Owners Throw Players A Bone Will They Accept Latest Offer By Wednesday

The lines have been drawn in the sand and now it is time to see if the NBA players are united or the rank and file is crumbling. The NBA owners gave their latest proposal to the players and they have to Wednesday to decide on it. Do not look for the players to accept it and the lockout will go on. It is not much different than proposals in the past that the players have vetoed.

Owners and players are not on the same page and they are more interested in getting the best deal for them and not the NBA product or the fans, so this will go on. The NFL was able to work something out, so the NBA could as well. I guess you might as well figure no NBA this season, and that is a shame as they are hurting many average people who depend on the NBA as their source of income. Of course we are talking about millionaires, so they really do not care about the fan or average person in the end.

We Will See If Baker Mayfield Was Worth The Money This Sunday Against Atlanta

This past Monday Night was very costly for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as they lost both wideouts Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Evans should be...
