Will Anyone Give Kurt Busch A Ride In 2012?

Kurt Busch and Penske Racing parted ways recently, and Kurt Busch will be a hot free agent. The problem he will encounter is finding someone to give him a chance. High-profile teams will not touch him, so it will have to be a borderline team that has decent equipment, but need a talented racer to get them over the hump. One of those teams is Richard Petty Motorsports who may just give Kurt Busch the chance he wants. I think that Busch going to Richard Petty Motorsports could be just what the doctor ordered.

Busch needs to be in an organization that can help him and in return he can help them. This is why Richard Petty Motorsports would be great for Kurt Busch. There are a number of other supporters, but right now it looks like Richard Petty Motorsports could be the best fit for Busch. No matter who he chooses to drive for the one thing he must do is tone down his attitude and his mouth. If he does not he will find himself on the outside looking in again.

Brady vs Tebow Is This Really Fair

Yes, Tom Brady and Tim Tebow will each try to get their team a win, but to compare them is just not fair at all. Brady has won multiple Super Bowls and has stats that Tebow will probably only dream about. Each quarterback does it their own way, and get the results their teams need. There really is no comparing these two as one is head and shoulders above the other.

Tim Tebow has been winning games at the end, but that will end this Sunday. Brady will show Tebow all about winning and how it is done. Look for Coach Bill to throw in some wrinkles to rattle the young Tebow into mistakes. Once these mistakes are made the veteran Tom Brady will show Tim Tebow why he is a sure fire Hall Of Famer. Nope this match-up is not really fair, but as I have learned in the past you can never count Tim Tebow out.

Barry Bonds Avoids Jail Time In Obstruction Of Justice Case

Well Barry Bonds did avoid serving any jail time for his obstruction of justice case. A federal judge handed Bonds a sentence of 30 days of house arrest, two years of probation and 250 hours of community service on Friday. Bonds is appealing the conviction and the appeal process could take over a year. Not to many people even me thought Bonds would see any jail time. U.S. District Judge Susan Illston also put on hold a $4,000 fine against Bonds for his obstruction of justice conviction arising from a grand jury appearance eight years ago.

The prosecution was hoping for jail time, but that did not happen. Bonds basically got off pretty easy. Of course it did cost him and chance of getting back into baseball. No team wanted Bonds, and I doubt if he will ever see the Hall Of Fame. It will be interesting to see if Bonds ever admits steroid use or takes all his secrets to the grave.

Colts Need To Make Sure Peyton Manning Does Not Take The Field this Season

Peyton Manning has been itching to get back in the lineup as he has resumed throwing the football. For the Indianapolis Colts they are looking at a season in which they most likely will not win a game. This is something that Peyton Manning does not like one bit. Hopefully common sense will prevail and the Colts will not march him onto the field this coming season. Many times, teams rush players back and there is no need to put Peyton Manning on the field this season.

For the Colts keeping him on the bench makes a lot more sense. They will get the No.1 draft pick and a player that can help their team for years to come. Sending Peyton Manning out on the field could get him hurt. Let him miss a whole season and come ready in 2012. I would rather have a losing season than to lose Peyton Manning for another year. Hopefully, the Colts will not try to get a win by sending out their star and risk another senseless injury.

Dwight Howard Still A Magic But How Much Longer

The Orlando Magic have decided for now they will keep their superstar and see how it goes. Magic brass have informed teams they are no longer seeking any trade partners for Dwight Howard. This means for now Howard will be a Magic. Now how long that may last can be anyone's question. Howard had asked for a trade, but has soften that stance a little bit in the past few days.

The main reason no trade was done was Orlando wanted a lot and no team had enough to make a trade go. Any team that wanted Howard would needed other trading partners to jump in to make it work. I just do not see other NBA teams help another one get Howard. For now he will be an Orlando Magic and it will be interesting in the coming months to see how this all plays out in the end.

Will Chris Paul Rule Los Angeles

The on and off again saga between the Los Angeles Clippers and New Orleans Hornets appears to finally be over. The Clippers have in principle agreed to a trade with the Hornets for Chris Paul. The Hornets will receive  guard Eric Gordon, center Chris Kaman, forward Al-Farouq Aminu and Minnesota's unprotected 2012 first-round pick. The Clippers will also receive two future second-round picks.

Looking at the trade I think the Clippers did not do bad for themselves. They are building a nice team and when you can add someone like Chris Paul you will only get better. With Blake Griffin already there and some of the other players the Clippers have picked up this looks to be a very good team. It looks like Los Angeles will have two very good teams for a few years to come.

Chris Paul and Kobe Bryant will battle for King Of Los Angeles. Right now Kobe Bryant is King, but that could change in the near future. For once the Los Angeles Clippers have a basketball team that actually has a good chance to unset the Lakers as Kings Of LA.

Orlando Magic 2011-2012 Preview- Will The Magic Rise Above The Drama With A Good Season

The 2011-12 version of the Orlando Magic could be much different if the many different trade options come to pass. Dwight Howard has asked for a trade and he really has no idea where he wants to go. If Howard does get traded this means Hedo Turkoglu and Chris Duhon could also be going along with their high dollar contracts as well.

Orlando did trade for Glen "Big Baby" Davis from the Boston Celtics in exchange for Brandon Bass. I think Glenn Davis is going to do well in Orlando and will play a big role in what the Magic will do this season. If Orlando does trade Dwight Howard look for Davis to have an even bigger role in the team.

The 2011-12 edition of the Orlando Magic is still evolving and could for some time. Gauging what kind of team or season Orlando will have is tough, but with or without Howard they will still be a decent team. Magic fans would like to keep Howard, but that may not be in the cards no matter how much they hope for that.
