The Raiders have a good offensive line, wide receivers, and running backs. There problem the last few years has been at quarterback and that will be the same problem this year as well. Jason Campbell and Trent Edwards will fight for the starting job, but I do not think either one will be the answer for the Raiders. They need a guy who has proven he can win on a consistent basis and neither one of these quarterbacks have done that just yet.
On defense the Raiders have been getting better, but will feel the loss of Nnamdi Asomugha at corner. The Raiders are young on defense with some veterans mixed in. I like what the Raiders are doing on defense and they should be good on that side of the ball for a few years.
The Raiders are getting better, but until a proven leader emerges at quarterback I am afraid the Raiders will not be as good as they could be. Get solid quarterback play and this is a team that can create a lot of problems when you play them.
